Second year student review

You have to clear aktu paper. After this, you have to enter councelling. There are 4 rounds in councelling.To enter in councelling you have to pay 20000. If you got the college on the first round you have to freeze the seat and you will be called by the college after all the five rounds of councelling get over. For CS branch you have to maintain marks above 270 around. I got 246 and I didn't get CS branch. I am an IT student.

I am from BTECH IT branch. I have to take CS branch but as i didn't get that many marks so i preferred IT as it was my second option. About the curriculum, it feels more like we are in school. Attendance is mandatory above 75% is needed to be able to appear in exams. In each semester there are quizzes held for internal. Every week on Monday and Friday quiz take place. So it kind of appears like school. The faculty is quite good. It teaches us as we are taught in our school life.. study is hard but faculty makes it quite easier..

Since I am a second-year student so i am unable to tell this mucj information about internship programs.. but as i heard Companies like TCS , TATA,cognizant they offer internship programs in our college.

From 7 semester companies starts to visit the college for placements. Many companies visit our college like cognizant, Tata, Assencher , TCS, wipro, SAP, Capegemini, Amazon, Media tech. As for the highest package it was around around 25 LPA.. and lowest package around 2 lpa. IN CS and IT Branch most students get placed.. around 60%. I kind of preparing for GATE. So in i can clear gate i will go for mtech else i will take the placement.

About the fees structure. In 1 year it is 123000 excluding exam fees that is 8000.in second year it is 108000.Third-year -112000.Fourth year-112000.So this was about fees for all branches..For scholarship if you are a rank holder you will get rewarded for that and if your father works in the provate sector you can apply for a state scholarship...As i am in second year so i dont know much about placements.

About the campus life, it is quite enjoyable. social life is good. There are many fests held after some period of time like anubhuti cultural fest, abhivyakti cultural fest, gantavya fest which is a technical fest, sports fest, etc. we have a basketball court, cricket ground. About the libraries all books are available. so everything is fine
