Entrance Preview
There is no entrance test for BBA. I chose the college because of its rankings in various lists and its proximity to my home.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course work is completely theoretical. I believe the college is not at fault here because it has to teach what the university prescribes. However, on its own, the college did try to make the coursework more engaging and practical.
Internships Opportunities
No, the college did not. In fact, students had to search for jobs on their own especially during under-graduation.
Placement Experience
They are good. But placements took place only for MBA pass outs. Not for graduates. It would have helpful if there were some opportunities to pursue after BBA/BCA. But students had to pave their way on their own. I hope that changes. Or at least some sort of help is given in the job search/application process.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there was no such loan or scholarship offered at the time. The only respite was the installment system to pay the semester fee.
Exam Structure
The college was very hectic. The exams were structured by the university, not the college. But, we did have: Mide Semester exams, assignments, presentations, weekly tests and seminars and guest lectures. That is all I remember from that time. But students were upset about juggling so many things.
Admission
I earned 84% in CBSE XII board exams. So, getting admission was very very easy. I applied to the college itself when they had arranged an enrollment event in their premises in the month June/July 2007. I just went there and got my documents verified, and paid the fees.
Faculty
The faculty was mixed. Some teachers had experience in their subjects. Some were just last year's MBA pass-outs, which was not a good practice. Also, research was not the focus on many teachers' job. So, there were not many inputs from their personal side.
