Remarks

Honestly, I haven't applied to any other college. Because I was going to take a break for one year. But my friends forced me to just give an attempt and let's see where I stand so I gave that shot and I got selected. I haven't applied through any quota or anything. So basically for admission to IBS, you have to give an aptitude test and get more than 50% marks or opt for the IBSAT exam. After that, you will receive a selection letter and interview invitation. Your interviews will be in February most probably. So talking about interviews you'll have three rounds firstly briefing, another will be GD, and lastly personal interviews. After the interviews, you'll be getting percentiles and that will decide your campus. For different campuses like Hyderabad will be at first and Mumbai is at second and so on. All these processes are very systematic and on time. there will be no delay in any of the processes.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My graduation is in Accounting and Finance and I don't want to do CA or CFA but I wanted to know more about other areas like Marketing, Operations, IT, and Also core finance. PGPM is the only option which will help you get more and more knowledge and it will also help you to decide your career. About faculty and students so there are more than 100 faculty and all of them are either Ph.D. or certified trainers. About the students, you'll get an opportunity to meet a lot of students from all over India, and also from various fields. The evaluations and exams will take place on the Quicforce platform. there will be MCQ-based CEC and short, long answers and case studies, As IBS is famous for case-study-based teaching. There will one mid-term and term exam every semester.

Internships Opportunities

3

There will be many companies for sales and marketing profiles for both the students of marketing and finance. Roles would be business development and sales, reviews, marketing, digital marketing, cold callings, data mining, etc. other than internships there are many live projects for finance, excel, soft skills, resume building, sessions on markets and personality development, etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

About internship, they will start coming from sem 1 only Placement will start during sem 3 there are major companies coming for sales and marketing profiles and very few for operations. Name a few Like major banks, Advertisement agencies, etc. Almost 99% of students get placement it includes in-house and on their own. About my plan I'll be doing the job for a few years then will do a PH.D. and fly abroad for more exposure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 8.1L It is normal we can say because all the institutes charge the same, but if it is online it is too much. If you get more than 7 CGPA in the first year you'll get scholarships. Full financial assistance will be given because there are many tie-ups with banks. There are few jobs on campus that will be mentioned in the brochure

Campus Life

4

Konflux is a big event in IBS Mumbai. There are many domain clubs, committees, and clubs. There are clubs for Finance, HR, Marketing, and committee for discipline and administration. Social life is amazing because you'll get to meet many people from across India and many experienced people. There will be a lot of opportunities to learn and to develop yourself.

Interview Experience

4.5

My topic was Government Income and expenditure So It was to measure your knowledge and your ability to speak and most importantly team building and leadership PI It was just a normal question that's it. They just wanted to know in person who are you and how you treat your society and how strong you are. how you will handle a particular situation and also about your background.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
