Remarks

I applied for the vithalerao vikhe Patil college of Engg Ahmednagar, as the quality of education and the teaching of staff is excellent. As per the cutoff and university rule, the admission rounds are carried out in college. Faculty of Respective department provides counselling to students for choosing correct branch for the graduation

Course Curriculum Overview

5

My course was BE Civil and I have very much interest in structure designing so I have selected this course. In this college faculty student ratio is also very good, For 30 students for 1 subject, there is one teacher with core knowledge of the respective subject. All the faculties are with the degree of PhD or M.Tech from different universities. Term exams were very timely, once in a month, we had a college exam too. Not difficult as such, But need to study in depth to pass it.

Internships Opportunities

5

Most of the companies provide a role of trainee engineer. You can get technical skills and site knowledge after these internships. Every year almost 40 % of students do internships under different companies firms and onsite construction sites.

Placement Experience

5

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. companies visited: Infosys, Matrix, Amdox etc. The highest package offered: 5 LPA. Average Package offered: 3.5 LPA. Almost 70-80 percent of students get the placement. I have done my ME in this college and currently, I am working as a structural design engineer.

Fees and Financial Aid

For OBC and open category students, we need to pay the amount of around Rs 1 lakh excluding hostel fees. I haven't received any scholarship, there was a lot of financial attendance we get from college and I got a job as a structural design engineer when I was in my last semester of BE.

Campus Life

5

The cultural and tech fest was held in November. There are lots of books and journals available in the library you can refer to and use which will help you develop. Amenities in the classroom are lights, fans, benches, tables, spacious rooms. Sports and extra activities take place twice a month, there are a wide variety of sports you can play. There are social groups NSS which is run by students and also different activities takes place in department level. Earn and learn the activity is also there so that students can earn on their own.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance & Decision Factors I would rate the curriculum an 8.5/10 for its contemporary relevance. FFCS System: A major factor for many students is the Fully Flexible Credit System. It allows you to tailor your curriculum—for instance, a Mechanical Engineering student can take minor credits in "Prompt Engineering" or "Financial Analytics" to stay competitive in the tech-driven job market. Industry Focus: The curriculum is updated frequently. In 2026, there is a clear emphasis on Holistic Learning, where elective courses are structured to help you specialize in niche domains like Bioinformatics, Information Security, or Machine Learning. Application-Oriented: The "J-Component" (Project Component) integrated into most core subjects ensures that you don't just learn theory; you must build a prototype, code an application, or conduct a researc

Semester 7 is when the placement season starts, and sem 5 onwards you can appear for internship season. The highest package goes in crores but mostly in cse department, others not IT jobs have reletively lower packages avarage being 20 LPA. Almost 60 percent and above students get placed in my guess. I am planning to work in a chemical process design firm.
