Remarks

No exam for the admission process. Direct admission is available from the GTU website. Cut-off marks for admission is 60% in 12th. There 2 - 3 types of admission quotas available but I done the admission with my percentage.

Course Curriculum Overview

In all engineering courses, the Mechanical Engineering course is known is It All Rounder course. There is well-educated faculty available for teaching and the teaching method of all the faculties is simple and easy to understand and solve all types of problems.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunity is available at the end of 6th semester. I took the internship at TATA Chemical Company, Mithapur. In this internship, my role is Training Engineer at the central maintenance department.

Placement Experience

In the 7th semester, students will be eligible for campus placement. Many local companies visited for campus placement and also TCS Company arrived for the campus. The highest package is 5 - 6L per year. 30 to 40% of students getting placement in different types of companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is an education fee is 72000/- per year and hostel fee is 75000/- per year and I have received a scholarship from the government of Gujarat its name is CMSS Scholarship Scheme. In this scheme, I received a 36000/- per year scholarship.

Campus Life

A very large library is available at my college. There are a very huge collection of all categories of books, novels, journals. Also, many sports activities are available. There is a projector facility available in all classrooms.

Hostel Facilities

I stay in my college's hostel and it's available in the college campus area and it's just walking distance between my college and hostel. Very good facilities are available in my hostel room. The meal quality is very good. The registration system was also simple for admission in the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Some students want to get into higher studies and some want to get off-campus placements. Many companies like google, motorola,crest comes to take interviews. Placement of my college is decent enough as per NITs. From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Micron, GE Healthcare, Visa, MasterCard and more visited and offer 6 to 7 candidates depending on requirement. Highest package is 57 LPA in CSE branch and 35 LPA in ECE branch. In CSE Placement percentage is 94% and in ECE it is 84%. I will go for College placements and will give government exams and GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement in by branch are good enough in last year 2024 a student got package of nearly 42 lakh per year from computer branch. The average package in computer branch is nearly 10 to 12 LPA . Different companies visits our college to give placement to the students. The major companies ask about the students who have 8 + CGPA . Students become eligible from the 7th semester itself for campus placements. The collge gives perfect data of the student who are placed in different different companies.in year 2023 88% of the students were succcessufully placed in companies.Including all branches average package was of 7 LPA but for computer science students the average package was 10 to 12 LPA.In petrochemical branches the highest package was 24 LPA . and average package was nearly about 6.5LPA.The IT companies such as Google , Microsoft, Reliance , TATA visiits the college to give placement to the students of computer science.The total of 550 +students got the offer from various companies from all branches of btech and nearly 175 companies visited to the campus of the collegeAfter i get the degree the college pdeu i wil do the job for 2 to 3 years in some good companies after that my plan is to do startup means i want to start my buissness such as making an app , etc.. In PDEU the number of students getting placed are good enough even students getting good offcampus packages than oncampus becaus the student become capable of doing work or finding good work. There are some of the students not getting the jobs on campus they try offcampus and thy get the job.

Great experience in College Life

The college do have placements offers with many companies in the world and even the most popular companies like google, Facebook, And many more. Many students don't get the opportunity as it only offers to those students who are good in there own field. Normally students become eligible for campus placements From 6th semester. The eligibility for addmission in this college is you need to score better in your diploma engineering or science exams. There is no cut of but the college is always bring a better student who scores very good marks in their previous couses.
