Rahul Purohit's Review On ICFAI Business School - [IBS], Pune

I dont find anything wrong in college not because i am from the same but because they are really well managed and concern too much for their students.

Firstly I opted for IBSAT exams which usually are conducted in same months when CAT MAT Cmat etc are conducted i opted for that which consist of triology i.e IBSAT Entrance paper if selected than Further a GD Round takes place and than take a interview a personal interview regarding yourself i.e what exactly you are what u want to do etc why ICFAI college kind of questions appear in front of you if selected than they see their cut off match with their campuses and offer you the campus in which your scores matches and I selected Pune Campus out of 4 campus offered to me.

Course curriculum is fantastic infact i have never gone through such a good process of reading writing and practical implementation of problems for and MBA or PGPM i.e how teacher can guide us there are many ways in ICFAI to show the same the best faculty if measured in Pune area than its the top most in terms of education systems placements and faculties further students also have to put some efforts its not only teacher who have to giving fee of a PGPM or MBA isnt enough more than that u need to give yourself to this course.

Yes college do provide internships to students who really are dedicated and seems to get in good firms the companies come into college and take us Delloitte JP Morgan Angel Broking KPMG etc which are one of finest in world provides us internship which usually provide stiphend according to performance 3 month internship usually we get 10k to 15k for one month which is more than enough for a intern further i personally consider internship a learning not a money making material.

Best placements i have seen many colleges in pune which do not have a list of companies which we do have Delloitte ,JP Morgan, Angel Broking, KPMG ,practo, Just dial ,Hero moto corp, XL Dynamics, Eclerx ,HDFC , ICICI , CRISIL, which again are the big brand names including this almost 150 companies visit campus every year which year by year is increasing in numbers.

Freshers Week, Annual event week, Inter college Tournaments, Sports tournaments, Inter COllege Sports tournaments, Dancing and singing, Festivals like ganesh chaturthi navratri etc, Photography competition, Infact we have clubs for every activity and students are themself search for the best and participate to make college proud and ICFAI have always encouraged for all of this activities.

Yes its feasible considering other instititutes its very much feasible seeing the structure and expenses they do on us providing books and everything its really good although people complain but i guess they havent yet visited to see the fees of symbiosis or IIMs which is too much than this so i consider is much better.

No sorry but i am not aware as such but college helps to find out for a loan college has some tieups with finance companies and banks for the same.

Campus life is just fantastic masti majak full too dhamal kind of many many co curricular activities takes place there the mentioned programmes are already been implemented in college. I miss those days really. i wonder i could stil be part of that college.

Mess food is nice and pleasant atmosphere with clean ambience in campus sorry but no hostels have been yet provided personally by college but Admin teams of college help you really well to search for your PG and which really are secured safe and economical considering city like pune.

Alumuni network is great infact a meet is arranged 2 times in a year by college so that we can coordinate with each other too much helping and too much supportive inside and outside the campus they also help in pursuing our career . hats off to all my seniors.

Best labs the great ambience and exam structure is too good it has case studies solving internal exams as well as written papers and presentation which all including judge us at out levels covering our confidence writing skills and mind thinking which all 3 are most important for a manager or MBA student.

The best faculty all the faculty of ICFAI is very well qualified and expirienced not only in teaching but has great industry expirience IIM A passouts XLRI shree ram college and the well known institute passout teachers teaches us. 15 to 20 yrs expirience faculty from industry expirience are available in ICFAI which let us not gain bookish knowledge but also the knowledge in terms of practical world so that getting out of college we can adopt the practicality of corporate world .
