About Internships in BIST

I got this college in the first round of counselling. I did some research and read some reviews online. Everyone appreciated it. Then I visited the college. The campus was clean, students looked sincere and the teachers looked serious and passionate about their jobs. They asked for a few documents like aadhar card, 10th & 12th mark sheet etc. The admission process was simple. Now I'm about to enter 3rd year. I can tell that this college has really well qualified & knowledgeable teachers. Plus they are all very supportive which is important for a student. The fee structure is easily affordable for any middle class family plus they have scholarships for OBC & SC/ST. I'm having a good college experience here, hopefully, it continues

There are 2 mid semester exams. Students are required to attempt at least one of them. These exams were not that tough for those who have been punctual in college given that we have a great teaching staff.

Students enjoy their time during internships here. They get valuable experience which helps them when they do a job later in their career. Many internships provided payments too which is really good from the students perspective

The placement record is fine in my college. TCS recruits the most number of students here. The average package is around 3-4 lpa from what I've seen and heard. Plans after getting the degree are getting a job in a good company, hopefully in a bigger city than Bhopal which is very possible.

Post metric scholarships are available in the college. The college has a separate section where you are supposed to submit all the documents required for the scholarship. It was simple to get. For OBCs these scholarships used to cover half of their fee amount.

Okay before the pandemic, some fests had dance, students were allowed to show any talent of theirs in these. There were Inter college sports competitions too and we had quality time with our supporting seniors when we got to freshers party. So the atmosphere is friendly and nice

The hostel was affordable and clean. It required only like 54000 per year which means 4500 per month which is very less in a city like Bhopal. The hostel was near the college. The meal was ok, not very good. That's what I've heard.

There were no tests for admissions. I got the college through counselling so the college knew pretty much everything about me before I reached there. The admission process was simple and less time consuming.
