Remarks

Yes the college is very good which offers everyone best education with best facilities and infrastructure. I am very impressed with the college with happy I am refering the college to every one.

Entrance Preview

I have written Kerala entrance KEAM and scored 145 marks. Also scored 88% in PCM. I opt this particular college because its best college near my house and the entire district.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum of Kerala engineering colleges has been changed from 2015-2016 to APJ Abdul kalam technical university (KTU) which maintains the standard of foreign , IIT college level. Mainly focus on the concepts , innovation. Which I love very much. I also love the key things to improve the people life by innovating my own ideas.

Internships Opportunities

Placement Experience

Yes , infopark, technopark, IT- solutions, wipro, pilosmith engineering , Infosys , tata, Honda, cartech, rapidx etc.... Companies came to our college and recruited many of the students for a good salary. The placements are on the basis of interview. They will asses our performance and interview with us if they feel he is the best to for the job they thinks he will be recruited with appointment letter and salary will be offered.

College Events

Yes we have celebrated many ocassion in college which is mesmerising. Onam, Christmas, farewell, annual day, Arts day. Had conducted science tech expo , exhibition , etc... DJ programs had been conducted band orchestra by famous thaikudam bridge had been conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes surely its feasible . As I mentioned its only 60000RS per year. If I am a management or NRI admission it would cost around 1.5 oak per year. Also the college is providing scholarships for highest mark scored student in each semester. Many prices and awards are given to increase the competition spirit of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the scholarship by central government for minority as I am christian I am availing the scholarship. 25000RS per year.

Campus Life

I think presently in my college there around 500 boys and 500girls. Yes there are extracurricular activities like sports , gym , parties , competition, etc. Debates are conducted on recent and interest topics. Everything is done time to time I feel very happy and proud to be a part of this college.

Hostel Facilities

Sorry I am leaving in my house not in hostel. However my friends told me hostel facilities are very good. Food and the room cost only 4000RS per month. My friends told me that host is very restricted with using mobile phone more concentrated on learning there is time table for every single action.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes there is aluminium association and get together. Alumni are very helpful .its a very good experience with them.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very good because the labs exams are conducted the years. The exams are conducted every semester ( 6months). Which I feel very relaxed because the learned things will not be forgoten. Also there is a new scheme year back which means if someone who scored credit score below minimum threshold he fails in the year . he will not be promoted to the next year he don't have permission to attend the college have to sit at home and write the exams again in the next academic year.

Admission

Allotment will be considered on merit list published by CEE Kerala.merit list will be published by calculating plus two board exam mark of PCM and the KEAM score.The merit rank list will be published and we can apply for allotment or take management admission for which college we prefer. I prefer this college so I just choose this college in allotment application. I got admission for b.tech mechanical engineering as I wish. As I am merit listed candidate I only have to pay the merit fees fixed by kerala government. Which is only 60000Rs per year. Otherwise If it is a management seat it would cost 1.5 lak per year. I started my class on august.

Faculty

The college faculty is the best. They are well experienced professionals who has proved their career. Most of them are PhD, M.tech holders who has been involved in the teaching sector for a long time. As a result I believe experience makes everyone supreme in each sector.

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Placement Experience:

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year

On that basis I got the First college in nashik was the Gokhale College , nashik which was very far away from my home . i got Computer engineering in that college . i Choose to go for the Cap Rounf 2 and got the MET , BKc nashik College in the field of AI&DS . i Comfirmed my seat and got the college .
