My college ZHCET,AMU has its own entrance exam for B.Tech.I appeared for its test in 2012. This test contains questions from maths, physics and chemistry. Maximum marks are 150,out of which I scored around 100 and I got shortlisted for selected students list.

In the first year of college the course structure is common for all students. Courses include the different subjects from different branches. Since at the end of first year there is a procedure if anybody wants to swap the branch also. So this also helps the students to have better idea about the branch courses.

No, my college doesn't provide internships at bachelor level. But if anyone applies for internships outside college in some good companies or institutions like IISC Bangalore then the faculty helps in references. At masters level stipend is provided.

Many companies come to our college. Placements generally starts in the seventh semester around Sept-Oct. Generally TCS is the first company to come to campus. Generally companies provide from 3.5 lacs to 9 lacs. Companies like paytm, Snapdeal, Adobe visit our campus.

Our college has an annual college fest named as Zarf which comprises of both technical and cultural events. It is mainly coordinated by the final year students and is sponsored by different companies. We invite students from other colleges also. Its a two day events fest.

Yes, different scholarships are provided to the high ranker of the classes and also to those who are unable to pay there full fee due to financial problems.

Since AMU is one of the oldest universities in India. Also its a central university.It's students are from all over the country and overseas. Its culture defines its values and behaviour in the students. They are most humble and helping in nature. Environment is very safe for women in campus. Administration is very cautious for the safety of the students.

AMU has vast network of the alumni all over the world. they are connected to each other through different platforms. Alumni helps the freshers to go to higher studies in other countries through their experience and knowledge. The helps students financially also in some cases.

Exams are scheduled twice in a semester. in the middle of a semester there are minor exams called as mid-sems. they consist of 25 marks.Also there are assignments of 15 marks including real time case studies or problems. Main exam is at the end of the semester of 60 marks. in every semester we have 5-7 subjects and 1-2 labs. The labs have different problem scenarios or statements.

I had to check my name in the list on the official website of AMU. Then, the date of reporting is mentioned on that list. On the day of reporting, documents were checked and branch was given according to preference and rank. On that day of reporting all students are called. Since there are around 350-360 seats so all procedures go smoothly.Administration is very helpful.

Most of the faculty members are Ph.D holders and have an experience in their area of teaching. Most of the faculty members have completed their studies overseas. Teachers use modern teaching techniques and equipment. Teachers are very punctual and never miss a class. Every time they come prepared with their content and try to create interest for students to understand the content.
