Remarks

Applied through Anna university engineering counseling. Got my seat in computer science branch in Gojan school of business and technology. I haven't availed any quota for admission. I had availability in various colleges. This was one of the colleges which fit my requirements hence chose it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams happened every semester. Twice a year. Some subjects were difficult to clear. I chose this course to get into information technology field. Since I had interest in coding, computer science was my choice. Student faculty ratio was 30:1. Faculty members were well qualified and dedicated professionals.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements begin by 7th semester. Anna university off campus recruitment helped to get placed. A dedicated placement officer. Usual package of 3 Lac per annum was given. Could've done better with placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year we had to pay 32500 plus mess fees, bus fees and others. It came around 65,000. The college management offered a scholarship of 4500 every semester for students who score 75% and above. It was very useful. Anna university had an off campus recruitment. I got selected in Cognizant technology solutions.

Campus Life

There was pongal fest, yearly symposium, tech fest for every department, sports day. Encouraged students to participate and prove their intelligence. Given rewards and recognition to whoever won and participated. Has a library and a cultural committee. A Magazine was run by students to showcase their many talents.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
