Entrance Preview

EEE. Due to my family economic status, this college located nearer to my hometown about 15 kms. Also EEE is the evergreen stable course includes mechanical and civil.

Course Curriculum Overview

Anna university syllabus and assigned professors/Lecturers. Electives are as per Anna university syllabus which made us to understand basics of mechanical,civil,computer science related subjects. So overall Curriculum,Electives are good.

Placement Experience

During our days, No such placements. Yes some companies came but not a very big. Many of our batch mates searched post completion of our college and then only placed with our own effort only. That too after 2 years which got us to settle. Still some of us not settled to.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes its feasible. No expensive. We can avail scholarship from Anna university also. One must follow up with management to submit the form to get the scholarship. Almost Management quota and counselling quota fees are same only. you can get bonafide from college to avail bank loans also.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship and Loans cannot be availed from College. These can be availed through the college. We can apply for the scholarship and we can get from anna university for tuition fess and hostel fees(Not a full amount). Bank loans, we can apply with the help of bonafide certificate from college.

Campus Life

Campus life is Good.(Not an excellent). Gender(Co education), Labs are for respective classes. Computer lab (Sona Lab) So good. Dedicated staffs for avoiding ragging. NSS activities are really well by dedicated staff. Annual sports meet for cricket,Running,Football,etc. Overall Champions will be rewarded.

Exam Structure

Cycle Test, Weekly/Monthly. Labs frequently and its must to gain knowledge for the core. Everything will be fine when we are also good in front of them. Lab technicians are very knowledgeable at that time. Professors lectures also should have same capacity to teach the students.

Admission

Through Government Anna university Counselling. As usual process. Admission to be done within stipulated timeline. Direct admission process also same almost. Need to pay the admission(Tuition fees) before the admission period completes as per management ethics.

Time and Future

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.
