All about IBS Mumbai

The cut off was 150 and above for NMAT scores. The admission process was very well managed. I had GD and PI rounds which went quite well. I got 90.5% in admission rounds. They had their weightage on school and graduation marks, then on GD & PI.

The students are well managed by the faculty as we also have a faculty guide for each section to look after any complaints. The teaching method is quite rigorous too as we have MCQ tests and projects to assess us throughout the course followed by mid term and final exams. The competition level is high. Also, all the exams happened right on schedule. As IBS is well equipped digitally.

Good internships are provided by the college. Some companies which provide internship are: J.P. Morgan Chase & Co Aditya Birla Lodha Iifl Students need to be good with excel as a lot of work is on that. Small projects are given to students, some companies also need people to do the fieldwork ( in marketing).

Students are trained from 1st year itself as our internship gets started right after our second semester. Therefore from 1st semester itself, we are trained through APTI tests and training given by my college. Companies such as J.P.Morgan Chase & Co, Asian Paints, Arcesium any many more. Some companies also provide pre-placement offers.

Firstly we had to pay an admission fee of 80000. After that 144000 for 4 semesters. And 145000 for one last semester. The scholarship is also awarded to each student scoring above 7 pointers in their exams, the amount is fixed depending on their marks.

Due to this covid scenario could not visit college. But the online facilities are quite good as the faculties are well trained and equipped to conduct classes virtually. Also, there are more than 25 clubs in college that conduct seminars and fests such as the finance club- Kautilya conducts Konflux every year.

Online classes vs offline classes. The GD process had a panelist with 12 other students who were asked to discuss among themselves for 3 mins then 1 min to each student was allotted to summarise. I prepared by being up to date with news and headlines, also took a GD training provided by the college itself.
