Remarks

Minimum marks are 50% required for admission and I have 89% in my 12th so I got the admission very smoothly and also got some concession in admission fees. I can't get any quota. Here teachers are very qualified and intelligent and very supportive. Also, the lab works are very good.

I choose this stream because many brothers of mine choose this stream earlier and they are working in a good company so I also choose this. About 60 students are in my class. Here mostly teachers are postgraduate from nits and very intelligent. Also here teachers are very experienced and supportive in nature. Students need to do a lot of self-study to secure good marks.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 85000 per year and I got some concessions due to personal relations. Fees are different for different categories. For SC it is about 45000 per year but the hostel charges are the same for all. Financial assistance is provided to students by the alumni and especially in this corona time.

Campus Life

Campus life is just amazing and as exciting as everyone's dream. Here are not very strict rules that make it awesome. The annual fest is just outstanding. I got surprised when the first time I saw it. Many celebrities also came here every year. There aren't very many books available in the library but books that are present are very useful.

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.
