Remarks

The college management was good and healthy to students. The students were not stopped for doing what they liked, obviously not any type of nuisance.

Entrance Preview

Frankly speaking, I could not get any other college due to a supplementary in Mathematics in 12th standard. Though I did appear for MH-CET and AIEEE and scored well too. The reason I opted for the said course is my interest in Softwares and programming.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course was good enough for the students to be able to complete in the outside world. Though some subjects were full theory based and students like me couldn't get through them easily, but not the fault of the course, thats the same around all the colleges.

Internships Opportunities

When I was pursuing my education there, as far I know, there was no internship program. But since the college has now become an University, just after my passout, maybe they provide internship now.

Placement Experience

5

Placement and Job opportunities are good. Several companies from various regions do come for placement drives, this is when it was a college. Now being a University, definitely the placements and job opportunities would have gone further up. Also I myself am placed through a college drive.

College Events

5

There were many events held in the college campus, including cultural, sports day, sport meet, freshers party, farewell night, dandiya night, live concerts etc etc etc. Also we conducted College Tech Fets in the college, me being the member of the management staff.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure, according to me, was feasible, looking at the campus, resources, faculties, hostel, mess food and all. Though what is feasible to me may not be feasible to all of you. The annual college fees was around 70k. Plus the expenses you carry at the canteen with friends, plus the travel expense, and most importantly the Bike PETROL expenses.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college did provide scholarships for the ones who are needy. Though the scholarship ratio did change depending upon the students financial background and needs. Special scholarships were given to the only girl childs.

Campus Life

5

Fantastic and very eventful. We almost had about 2-3 events every month. The events included, painting, debates, drawing, rangoli, contempore etc etc. Labs and sports were a daily routine. We had the labs for all the subjects that weren't only theory oriented.

Hostel Facilities

5

BEST food i have ever had in any of the colleges. I didn't actually stayed at the Hostel, but used to stay sometimes during exams for group studies and mostly MASTI. I used to eat at the mess sometimes, having 2 sabji, roti, dal, rice, pickle and some special items almost regularly.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, definitely. Seniors did help a lot at every stage whenever needed. Be it organizing something, studies, sports, in short everything that you need, they were always there.

Exam Structure

Not at all, the semester exam are usual and happens in every college. Apart from that we had two mid-semester exams. Initially, they were boring and we didn't use to appear in them. Later, we realized it was a good practice, helping students to keep studying throughout the semester, as Engineering is just a one night battle. Eat full night and vomit in the exam hall.

Admission

Admission was pretty straight forward. It was a counselling process. Had filled up a form with the desired stream plus two extra streams in case didn't get the desired stream. Got selected for the desired course and thus got a seat. The college management was cooperative enough and wasn't a pain to get an admission.

Faculty

5

Faculties were the best, short and sweet. We had the best for every subject we had. Very calm and very patient. The faculties were always there to guide us, help us, manage us. They were like friends and family. We would talk about anything, get our ideas to them and would get helped in every way possible. Even we celebrated several events together.

After completing the four-year degree, the college does provide placement, but I don’t know much about it yet because I haven’t seen many companies visiting the college. So far, I’ve only seen four or five companies. There aren’t any major companies coming in. Also, when placements happen, it’s unclear how many students got placed, how many didn’t, what the packages were, or what the highest package was. From what I’ve seen, the placement seems to be average at best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved. The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches. The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.
