I had applied for BBA Hons. in Christ University Bangalore but I wasn't selected. In BVP IMED , I applied and appeared for BUMAT, and according to since my score met the admission criteria I was sent a provisional admission letter. Basically passing BUMAT and getting a good rank is the only criteria for admission in BVP IMED
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for BBA since I had commerce as a background and also because I have an interest in management subjects. In BVP IMED we have three sections almost every section has about 50 students. The faculty is student-friendly, they have a good experience. For some topics we get notes. Some of the teachers have done PhD. We have guest lectures, we get opportunities for research paper presentations, we have college fest names "expressions" and "c-googly- basically for students interested in coding-decoding" . Due to corona, we have online exams, class tests, and assignments. We have midterm, end term, and university exams for every semester. The level of the exams is easy to moderate.
Placement Experience
Students got placed in companies likeTcs,ICICI bank, Tech Mahindra,ICICI Prudential,Principal Global, Electronica Finance Ltd., Yes Securities,TATA AIG,BYJU's etc. In BBA 35 students opted for online placements and 32 of them were placed. After getting my degree I would also appear for campus placements. And after gaining experience for 1 or 2 yrs then I would do postgraduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee per year is one lakhs which can be paid semester-wise. There was no fees hike due to the pandemic instead the college accepted late fees according to students' and parents' convenience. At the end of the course, we get placement opportunities. Since the past few years, IMED has had almost 100% placements.
Campus Life
The annual fest is named "xpressions". It is conducted in the month of April. Whereas the tech fest is named as C-Googly which is conducted in May. We have been provided a source for E-library and also have been given a subscription to Edx.
