My College, My Life

I have applied to Subharti Engineering College only because it is the only college in Meerut which offers Food Technology as a branch in B.Tech. My college also grants me the scholarship based on my 12th grade which too helped me in raising some funds. The admission went very smoothly as I cleared the entrance test with flying colours which too helped me in my further procedure of admission.

Exams are conducted in college with full discipline and guidelines. 2 invigilators got appointed in every examination whether there are sessional exams or semester once. The question paper comes from the notes taught in the class so it becomes a bit easy to pass the examination as our teachers teach us well.

Internships are offered from the 3rd year and students are sent to many companies for the internship program. Many interesting tasks are also given by the company as well as by the college which results in giving students a good amount of experience and knowledge.

Our college offers placement in every department and it too conducts a job fair where students of every college of the university or other universities came and participate in that. Many students got jobs in their favourite companies. Around 20 companies came for the placement and to offers the job to many with a nice package.

Our college offers a nice amount of scholarships for meritorious students with some terms and conditions that the student shouldn't have and back in any semester and should score more than 60% in each semester. The other criteria for maintaining the scholarship is to maintain 75% of attendance in each and every subject.

The campus life is very safe and exciting. Every year an annual fest named SPANDAN happens in our university for the whole one week where many inter college competitions takes place involving sports and athletics, dance and singing competition, Nukkad Natak, Mehandi competition, rangoli competition and many more. Students of every college of our university participate in this with full enthusiasm. There is another fest named MAHOTSAV too takes place in our university. It is considered as a festival in our university and is personally headed by our CEO ma'am. In this many competions take place in our university in which many students of different schools comes and participate and too won exciting prices.
