Life is experiencing in GBU

I've applied for Galgotias shardha amity but I choose Gautam buddha university because of its fee structure as it includes compulsory hostel and mess charges. There is no quota available for any of the students, the admission is merit-based you have to avail a minimum of 50 percent Mark in 10th and 12th standard. I applied through the website online and I got a call from them for the counseling day. And on counseling day it was very portable with the norms and conditions they guide you professionally about all the fee and course-related information.

I choose this course according to the fee structure and faculty qualifications with projects. All the teachers are entrance qualified and the student-teacher ratio is also good, if the strength exceeds 50 in any batch they divide the class into two groups. Almost 2 major and 3 minor exams happen in a semester and the grading system of gbu is out of 100 and the minimum passing vage is 40. Teachers are strict about assignments and you should avail more than strict 75 percent attendance..

Students can sit in campus placements in their last year or from second last semesters. Good companies like Akash, oyo, lido learning, yes bank , bicano, curefit , paytm visits the campus and college provide more than 65 percent placement , two chances for each and every student , therefore the chances are higher if you're a good student. The average package of gbu is 5 to 6 lakh and the highest package is 11 lakh . My plans after degree is to get placed in yes bank or hdfc bank from campus .

The education fee of the course is 110000 per year which you have to submit semester wise. And the compulsory hostel and mess charges are 65000 per year , 30000 for hostel that is a fixed charge and the mess charges fluctuate every year because it a government mess and sometimes it decreases. The fee structure is overall cheaper and affordable than nearby universities but as a government university the fee is high . The college provide only examination based scholarship of 20000rs for each topper student of every batch in every course.

The annual fest of gbu is abhivyanjana and it includes shauryautsav , concerts, interuniversity competitions, Umang, and many minor fests also. Clubs and social groups of gbu are made by student unions that include adventure, natures, dance, art, nukkad natak, music, social services, photography, painting club. The college has its central library which contains generals and books from each and every department, students don't have to purchase any book from outside. The sports activities of gbu is best as compare to nearby universities , the stadium, grounds are very big and students are encouraged by teachers to join sports.

Every student is allotted with single-room attached with balcony, in room fan side table chair table book shell Almira bed without mattress light fan is given to everybody. There are hostel restrictions in girls hostel as you're not allowed to move out hostel area after 7 in the evening and not from your own hostel after 10 at night. The washrooms are not attached to every room, almost 4 rooms have one washroom in common. Every two hostel has a single mess, which provides fixed meals. The meal is divided into 4 parts - breakfast lunch snacks and then dinner. The meal quality is good and nutritious to the student's diet, but they only provide veg meals in the mess. The registration of the hostel is done at the time of admission and the allotment of the hostel is based on course and department.
