Best Women's Institute: Mody U

I choose to study here at Mody University because it is one of the top Womens institutions in India and also, it focuses on teaching us about the enrichment of the Indian traditions and its culture. Also, it ranked 22 among Private General Universities by India today and 66 out of 435 as best engineering colleges by IIRF. As for the application process, I was given admission here on the basis of Entrance Tests and Personal Interview conducted by the University and my merits in the previous qualifying examination. To apply here, I had submitted my application form online through the official website of the university. The application process cost me an amount of Rs.600 that I paid through my Debit card.

My program of Computer Science and Engineering provided me with a variety of environments like academia, research, industry, government, and private or non-profit organizations. Though the curriculum, I was learned to analyze challenges, formulate and test solutions, used advanced communications or multimedia equipment, or work in teams for product development. The faculty of our college was helpful and most of them were well experienced and knowledgeable. Dr. Ashok Singh Rao, Dr. Kumar Sambhav Pareek, Dr. Ashish Kumar Sharma, Mr. Akshay Jain, Dr. Vinod Maan were part of the prominent faculty members at our college.

To help us find placement opportunities, my university had a placement cell which was dedicated to us. The placement cell kept us updated aware of the constantly changing trends and demands of the industry and equipped us with the highest level of potential for cracking the tough selection process. Also, experts from within the industry frequently visited our college for Talks, Seminars, and interactive sessions that immensely helped us in our preparations for job. During our on-campus drive, the top recruiters that came to hire us include Accenture, Aricent, Infosys, Promact Infotech, Saint Gobain, SKF Bearings, IBM, ZS Associate, HSBC, Hexaware Technologies, Ericsson, Adobe, LinkedIn, SAP Labs. The average salary package made by recruiters was around 5-6 lakhs.

The overall fee of my program was about 9.45 lakhs in total, which is considerably affordable for a 4-year program and I paid the fee in 4 yearly installments. Also, to make the program affordable for all, the university provides financial assistance on need and merit basis.

Our campus was very huge and beautiful and included several facilities such as a cafeteria, Library, Central Computing Centre, Transportation, Health Care, Sports complex for outdoor and indoor sports activities, and an auditorium for countless extracurricular activities. The several clubs that were available here for us include Film Society, Campus Journalism, Leadership Club, History and Heritage, TEDx, Literature and Poetry, Photography, Debate, Entrepreneurship, and many more, among which I was a part of the personality development club that helps me enhance my overall personality and boosted my confidence. Learning here was not limited to the classroom alone, after classroom hours, we turn into a teeming self-learning experience with the help of student societies that ensures our overall growth. The student societies here include SANGLAP- Academic Society, SARANG- Cultural Society, and SPANDAN- Sports Society.
