Journey of BIHER's MBA

When i decided to do an MBA i was really confused about which college to join but as and when i did research i got to know that BIHER as an MBA institute is best because of it's vast alumni connection, almost 100% placement and industrial experienced faculties. The college conducts it's own exam known as BEEE for selecting students of various courses.

I decided to persue MBA because i keen to join my family business and doing an mba had made me business ready. When we talk about course curriculum of the college it was pretty good as all the learning were based on practical experiences of industry leaders also the students to faculty ratio was almost 15:1 which is good enough and when you are learning under the professor who themselves got graduated from IIMs and IITs you surely gonna pass the exams with ease.

No i didn't opted for any Internship because in that mean time i focused on my goal and got involved in my family business for gathering practical experience though it was equally valuable to any internship.

College provides the placement assistance by inviting companies on campus and in my batch almost 95% students got placed in good companies like KPMG, OYO, ICICI bank and the roles offered were also managerial level. Highest package was almost 13Lpa.

When compared to other MBA colleges BIHER offers a very pocket friendly Course with around 200000 fees for 2 years excluding hostel fees and it also assist you in getting loans at minmal rate of interest. In terms of placement it is pretty amazing though as mentioned i wanted to join family business so i opted out of placement but some of peer group members are working in companies like EY, KPMG, DELOITTE and many more.

The campus life was very encouraging for me because i got to meet people from every corner of our country and when you work with them in different clubs and organisations such as finance , HR , Marketing club you get to learn a lot. In terms of infrastructure i would rate it 5/10 since the college is old so classroom and library are not updated with latest technology.

I would rate the hostel experience 7/10. The best thing was that it was on campus and easily reachable to college. All the basic amenities were provided like mess, laundary, cleaning infact some rooms were equipped with AC. Apart from that ATM and health center was also available.To avail the hostel facility you need to contact the administration department and they will allot you the rooms as and when available.

The admission process in this course is quite simple i had to appear for an entrance test conducted by University itself that is BEEE it included some questions related to aptitude or reasoning and english grammar. For this test i prepared myself at home only by referring to a aptitude book by arun sharma.
