Remarks
I'd Applied for various colleges including K.J Somaiya, VJTI, Father Agnel & Bharatiya Vidyapeeth, But I didn't get selected in K.J Somaiya but got selected in Father Agnel, But I choose Vishwaniketan when I came to know that this college has collaboration with various universities & also their Project-Based Learning Methodology so that's why I choose Vishwaniketan over most of the other Navi-Mumbai based colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is the standard Mumbai University one, but the difference is they have a lot of opportunities, like UG Fellowship, Value-added programs & Masters in Abroad Opportunities There is an avg. of 50 Students in a Class the classrooms are quite big & spacious overall the college's atmosphere is really good, most teachers are a Ph.D. in their fields! so the faculty is really good, the exams were quite tough though
Internships Opportunities
There are many internships from BSNL to TCs that are offered by the Training & Placement Department in the college, I don't know much about internships but yes there are a ton of Projects that are available for Students to do from European Commission Projects to many other, the thing is Vishwaniketan has its root embedded deep into the projects offered by the European Commission & other European countries so this gives a lot of opportunities to students!
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement from the 7th Semester, as far as last year's data is concerned there were about 100+ companies that visited the campus for the placements, a large number of students got placements in companies like TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, etc. The highest package was around 10 Lakhs per annum, the avg. the package was around 4-5 LPA & lowest being 1-2 LPA, All the departments had good enough placements!
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are on the lower side as it's a non-profit organization, they've all the Scholarship / Government Scholarships, though they don't have Financial Assistance or On-Campus Jobs, etc. The Financial assistance is available on UG Fellowship AKA (International Internship Program) for students who are really a cut above the rest of the students based on their performance etc.
Campus Life
There's a lot of Cultural activities etc. that happen, Vishwaniketan has a festival called Vidhisha which fairly like an enjoyment & cultural festival that happens every year in February, secondly there's a Technology fest too which is called as Vinnovate, which happens every year in September / August, So overall it's a happening place. The college has a massive library which I think almost all the books that might be required, they have the entire library in Digital Format too! & also they've digital collections of various Journals, Research papers, etc. Classrooms are equipped with Projectors, Notice boards, etc. for sports, vishwaniketan has the most enormous Multipurpose Ground, with a dedicated Squash & Tennis Court so the sports are well taken care of, There are many clubs in the college so that's a plus one!
