Remarks

The college chosen by me is in tohana and I get admission in this college by proper counselling procedure. Minimum percentage for it was 75 percent in bcom that time. Yes there was category criterion for schedule caste and for other categories. Minimum age was such that uh should be 17 +. Counselling was done online via their portal.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is b.com and faculty member is great but some times as this is not a very popular college some teacher do not like to job in this rural area college due to which some difficulties are being faced by us in some subjects but overall faculty are very supportive and always help us in study. Exams are mid termed and as it is affilated to CDLU University Sirsa exams pattern follows the same criterion of universities and level of exam is moderately tough.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of our Indira Gandhi government college tohana fathehabad is very low it is only 34000 per year with some increment every year. As the college is under haryana governement so all the schemes of scholarship are being there which are run by our government. Job oppourities are not much provided in the b.com course in our college.

Campus Life

Yes, there is annual fest which is conducted by student only. Intercollege and intracollege conpetitions are being there. The library is huge we got all the related subjects books. NSS camps are also being conducted for students. College gives special attention for sports and extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the business and finance so that's why i choose this field. Somehow this curriculum doesn't prepare me fully for real world but accounting is prepared me for industrial work. In that course college should visit student to company for gaining practical knowledge. Exams is on semester basis or after 5 to 6 months when syllabus of particular semester completed. It is difficult but not like that someone who study got fail.

Both the things be it placements or the internships, they are top class. Since our course was related to Financial Markets, companies like Axis Capital, Reliance Mutual Funds and likewise the companies that deals in security markets were the ones that have us jobs. Average placements of B.Com in Financial Markets were around 5 lakhs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's not my my first choice because I was planning for abroad. So there is not any specific aspects to choose this course or college. Now curriculum of changed. And now I feel it's 40 to 50% related but still needs improvement. They should adopt foreign education system and should increase education budget. Exams frequency is 2 times in a year. Level is really easy.
