No entrance exam is conducted by our college, and all the admissions were held on the basis of marks scored in Class12 with a very poor system.

Course structure is good for students opting B.com Vocational for non vocational , it is just made for timepass. Instead of lying at home idle Take admission in Indira Gandhi Govt. College and you will be awarded with an undergraduate degree in three years.

Internships Opportunities

No kind of internship is provided. Although they run an "Earn while You learn" Scheme but it is just for name sake no job is provided under it to work upon.

0 out of 10.No placements or job oppprtunities are available here. You'll just get a degree after attending class for 3 years. So basically if you have your own business or something and you just earnt a paper certificate of undergraduate or postgraduate then take admission in this college.

Yes, many scholarships are provided by govt. For students from backward classes and for the meritorius students.

Exam Structure

Exams are good and challenging as required but on the contrary checking of those exams is very poor. It is not sure that even a peon would have checked your final exam and rewarded you by 90% or made you FAIL even when you deserved highest. BEWARE and hope for ypur good luck only.

Good college with scope of improvement in some fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the business and finance so that's why i choose this field. Somehow this curriculum doesn't prepare me fully for real world but accounting is prepared me for industrial work. In that course college should visit student to company for gaining practical knowledge. Exams is on semester basis or after 5 to 6 months when syllabus of particular semester completed. It is difficult but not like that someone who study got fail.

Both the things be it placements or the internships, they are top class. Since our course was related to Financial Markets, companies like Axis Capital, Reliance Mutual Funds and likewise the companies that deals in security markets were the ones that have us jobs. Average placements of B.Com in Financial Markets were around 5 lakhs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's not my my first choice because I was planning for abroad. So there is not any specific aspects to choose this course or college. Now curriculum of changed. And now I feel it's 40 to 50% related but still needs improvement. They should adopt foreign education system and should increase education budget. Exams frequency is 2 times in a year. Level is really easy.
