Entrance Preview

In our time, we did not require to give an entrance exam, however we had to select a college from the list provided by Gujarat University, and by reference of my frinds and cousins, I chose GLISBA.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure was great along with the best faculties available in Ahmedabad for each and every subject, also we had industrial visits for better learning experience. Activities such as cultural dance, fashion shows, sports are given equal importance.

Internships Opportunities

Not sure about internship at college. The institute does organise campus interviews though. Placement percentage is around 85% as students at our college have always been rankers at Gujarat University for at least 10-12 years as per my knowledge.

College Events

Cultural festivals, Garba contests and navratri, sports activities, fashion shows, orientation programms, guest speakers for motivation of students. Activities such as cultural dance, fashion shows, sports are given equal importance.

Faculty

Faculties not only from Gujarat but also from other states teach in our college. Not sure about internship at college. The institute does organise campus interviews though.

My main reason for choosing this course was firstly the Simple BBA was not in that much demand due to the involvement pf technology in evry sector.due to this the course BBA ITM was best for the current times dur to the inclusion of technology and commerce and the curriculam was perfectly designed with the optimal mix of theory and practical applications of these knowledge by organizing events to back your theory and industrial exposure. The main area of improvement was recently covered by the collage by introducing more dynamic specialization like BI , digital marketing ,IT so thats all.the frequency and timing of exams are correct and the difficulty level of exams are close to 4 which can be high but its best

Placement Experience:

Campus placement varies between 4-8 LPA after graduation from GLS University. Almost 65% students gets the placement after getting degree which is still not bad for Tier 3 college. Campus placement also depends on Course you opted for and level of your skills. Companies like TCS, wipro, HCL, ICICI, Asian paints, and many more visited GLS University for campus Placement. Companies choose candidates from various Domains with certain rules and regulations followed by Universities guidelines. Candidate which has plan for MBA can also build strong foundation from choosing BBA course. But the overall packages still feels low as compared to living expense of today's world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is not that what I expected to be I am more of the practical learning guy , but the faculties depending on their course are more of a lecture given type classes . The classes per subject are for an hour and the timings for the classes are accordingly given , their is two timings to attend the classes and their are two batch, morning batch and evening batch . The courses should be much of practical based and should be fun and interactive .

Our university is tied up with more than 1500 componies and every year more than 70% students are placed. Till now the highest package goes to ?1.10 crores which is in google, california. Its ok like course is a bit good but they don't provide the proper notes like if they will send you the notes there will be difference in the notes and it will be head ache for you to find the notes and some topics are missing too

The college does guarantee above 90% placement rate and everyone joins this college for its placement rate. The ones not obtaining the placement opt for family business or further studies. The placement committee is quite sound and committed to getting each and every student placed

A review my college deserves

I applied to other 2 colleges which are Somlalit & hl but didn't get admission due to percentage requirements. And I choose gls as it was there is my preference from earlier and I won't regret my decision. I didn't get rejection but only thing went wrong was I required little more percentage for admission.
