FUTURE LIES HERE AT PSIT

I applied for PSIT Kanpur in the year 2020, the admission criteria were pretty simple. I had to give a test according to my branch preference that was Computer science and Engineering (Internet of Things), I was required to have an average score in PCM of above 75% which I did had, then I had a one on one talk with a counselor about my branch and its perk, after all, that I finally took the admission.

I chose CS(IOT) considering the impact and necessity of this course in upcoming years as technology advances day by day. Here at psit we have a faculty: student ratio of about 10: 1 that is extremely good, and we get proper interaction and time with our teachers. Qualification of our faculty members are mostly PhD's with over 10 yrs of experience and their teaching methods are top-notch even though in these online classes they find a way to make class interactive. regarding exams, we have 4 assignments 2 class tests 1 pre-university test, and 1 External each semester.

I am in my first year and right now we have Internships in internshala.com . from the third year onwards students are provided with internships in giants like Infosys , TCS , WIPRO, and many more. Our training cell takes a good responsibility for the on-campus internships and placements.

campus placement starts from the 7th semester, the main companies that visit our college are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and many more. offer placed is in the range of 3-10 LPA. the highest package goes to 10lpa and average is about 5 LPA , more than 90% of students gets placed in PSIT

During the admission time, my fees were 1,70,000 rs per annum. Under UP government schemes and UPSEE score, we have scholarship criteria too. Financial assistance by SBI banks is also provided to help with easy student loans.

Life on campus is great, we have rich greenery everywhere, we have lots of clubs, we have an annual fest called Igitia , the library is always open to issue books and studies, all classrooms are fully air-conditioned and are smart classes.

The admission process was pretty simple, it was mainly based on UPSEE scores if not an individual test conducted at the time of admission, you get a branch according to your performance. The test is to test your logical thinking, aptitude, and English mainly.
