Remarks
The admission process was smooth and well structured. We went through two rounds, GD and PI. Initially, we were sat in a common room. Then we were given a brief introduction to the college and the courses. After that, we were divided into groups and were sent into respective rooms for the GD round. Two invigilators were assessing us. We were given 5 minutes to write points on the topic before starting the GD. After completing the GD round, we were made to sit in the assigned place. After few minutes, we were called for a PI round. Two interviewers asked me multiple questions on my work experience, why I chose a particular course, and some more.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose RBA because I wanted to make a career in the Analytics field. The course curriculum is rigorous and thorough. We are given multiple opportunities to gain in-depth knowledge of the Analytics industry. Practical exposure to each and every tool is given by the faculties. They are knowledgeable and gives emphasis on the practical implementation of the subject.
Internships Opportunities
Companies that come for this course- GEP worldwide, Morgan Stanley, Adobe, Colgate, TCS, DHL, Jio Creative Labs, Outlook group, SigmaCon, Datamatics, Future Generali Insurance, StanPlus, Mavericks, Welspun India, Capgemini, Anand Rathi, etc. These are some of the companies that came for internships. \ For executive placements, many more companies come. The average salary is 8-9lpa
Placement Experience
Placements at Welingkar are good. Many companies come to the campus, for an internship as well as Executive placements. They offer different roles and anyone with good knowledge will be able to land a nice job.
Fees and Financial Aid
Talking about the fee structure, the college has a fair fee, as compared to other MBA Colleges. Considering the average salary of 8-9lakhs per annum, a fee of 11 lakhs in two years seems reasonable. College does provide multiple scholarships, financial assistance. Many companies come to college to offer jobs in various roles. It is up to the students to make the best of the given situation.
Campus Life
Not very excited to tell you this, but I haven't yet been to the campus, thanks to the lockdown. However, there are not many active clubs in the college, so that's a bummer. We do have a placement committee and an academic committee that is super active. Additionally, we have a monthly magazine 'Samvaad'. It's a student-driven magazine and each month they publish some great stuff in all areas of management.
Interview Experience
When it comes to GD, it is important to be prepared for current affairs. Read the newspaper daily and get an in-depth understanding of the situation. You must be able to back up your words with some facts or statistics. This will help you raise the credibility of your words. I did the same thing, I was reading newspapers daily and keeping myself updated.
