Remarks

I had applied to Government Polytechnic college but due to a low rank in my entrance exam, I didn't get a seat there. The admission process was somewhat tough at that time because most of the students attend on the same day hence that made it difficult for the admissions process. Even the counseling also took a long time for documentation also.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had some experience of electrical works as my father is an electrician. Hence I had an interest in this course. The ratio of faculty and students are 1:40 The minimum qualification of faculty is M-tech & B-tech, their teaching is excellent Every 6 months exams will be conducted.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid nearly 4000 at the time of admission. They said it's for the building funds, lab fees, records. The examination fees are ours that are not included here. We had some campus interviews but most of the campus we got is for above 75% of students only.

Campus Life

We had only 2 fests, semi-annual fest & annual fest which will be conducted in November & February. Our library system is mostly the best I like we are allowed to take books home to study also. Classrooms are maintained clean every day Sports like cricket and volleyball are conducted weekly.

3year or final year students are available for campus placements .there are so many have visited our college like AWS,infosys,tech Mahendra etc .there is a high probability of campus placements there is more than 85% of students getting the degree.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are Infosys, Wipro, Lenovo, and Aditya Birla. The offers are averagely 4 to 5. The highest average annual package offered by the companies is 5 lakh. The percentage of the students who are getting the placements is an average of 70% to90%. My plan after completion of my degree is to start a business of my own.

Remarks:

College is totally excellent providing great values of education and knowledge. According to me GIET is the one of the Huge engineering College like no any other. Especially in East Godavari region. But due to free Wi-Fi most of the students are spoiling spending time in college with mobiles and games. I think it's better to block all other sites social media sites and games. except educational sites.

Remarks:

Positives are good faculty nice area peaceful library good ground nice bus transportation well furnished labs and library good furniture in class rooms high end PC's in it labs good teaching of communication skills. Negatives are should build a rtc bus stop at the entrance the college from road is too far.
