First of all, applicants have to appear in jee main then after they have to apply for ugeac and after this ugeac counseling takes place as we already now demand of computer science and engineering increasing day by day so here too by trend 1.Computer science and engineering 2.Electronics and engineering 3.Civil engineering 4.mechanical engineering

Course Curriculum Overview

Till now I don't have experience of giving exams but it is going to be held as soon but I have heard from my seniors that exams are good n if u have attended all classes if ur teacher then ur good to go in the examination.

Everything is good all students participate in internships due to TEQIP 3 our college has to tie up with IIT Kanpur n internships are held by TEQIP 3 in nowaday's they also grab opportunities from off-campus internships offer.

From computer science and engineering, almost 80 percent get their placement offer some companies like CISCO, Capgemini, Wipro in 2020 a girl from batch 2016-2020 grabbed a package of 15 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

In Bihar, you get a loan by the Bihar government especially for the people of their state they called as a credit card loan/scheme in which u get upto 4lakhs rupees and after 5 yrs uh will pay your loan in terms of upcoming 7 yrs.

Overall nice infrastructure and facilities.poor placements,but faculties are knowledgeable and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is but outdated. It doesn't prepare much for real world applications but can help in preparing for higher studies or competitive exams. 75% attendance is mandatory .Even one day before exams , we need to attend classes. That has a scope of improvement for the college to focus on skills rather than theory knowledge only.

I am really interested in my course . The fees is affordable. The placement opportunity is good as well as here is the environment for government exam / engineering service exams . Different well qualified faculties are present in each branch . Every subject has faculty member. Each and every faculty is well educated . The minimum qualification to become the faculty of this college is Mtech . The faculty has passed GATE exam /BPSC exam . The term exams are timely , midsems are taken 1 month before the end sem exams . The level of the semester exams is sometimes moderate or tough . Students should have the depth knowledge of the subject .

Student's Review On Darbhanga College of Engineering - [DCE], Darbhanga

First it is a Government Engineering College which comes under Bihar Government and is Funded by World Bank under TEQIP-III scheme. Many Courses and Internships are organized by Bihar Government to develop skills in students. And the Fee of the college is very less. At the time of admission you will be charged Rs.2500 by the college and in 2nd, 3rd and 4th sem college will charge Rs 120 only for showing in Government Records and the University will charge you first time Registration Fee of Rs 2100 and Rs 6400 as Exam Fee every year for 4 years by the time you complete your Degree. So total fee college will cost you Rs.26080 in 4 years. A medium class family like my can afford the Fee of this college. If you can't afford the Fee you can get a loan from Bihar government under Bihar student Credit card scheme for Under Graduate students after getting admission, under this scheme you will get money for College Fee as well as Hostel Fee and money for buying books and for buying laptop under very low Rate of Interest.
