Affordable B-School: KVIMIS

I got to know about this institute through a friend of mine who graduated from here. I decided to choose this Institute for my studies because of it's previous placement records, practical curriculum, and experienced faculty members. Also, it has been ranked among good B-schools of India. To start the admission process, I had to submit an application form online through the official website of the college. For the process, I had to pay an application fee of INR 1000.

My MBA program helped me acquire global managerial skills through imparting knowledge related to effective communication and comprehension, value-based leadership, team dynamics, legal and ethical values and goal orientation. Also, my teachers helped us gain practical and real-world knowledge by using different teaching methods. Most of my faculty members acquired years of on-field experienced and high level degrees in their respective fields.

In addition to gaining great experience to complete the classroom learning, my institute provided me with the chance of an internship that allowed me to beef up my resume and make valuable industry contacts that was essential to help me land the ideal job upon graduation.

The placement center of my institute functions in a separate area with state-of-the-art facilities. They conduct Pre Placement Talk, Written Test, Group Discussion and Interviews and has steadily progressed over the years in enhancing the placement potential effectively. The cell plays a very important and key role in counseling and guiding us. The top recruiters that hire us include Airtel, Accenture, IBM, Cognizant, Deloitte, HP, The Hindu, etc.

The fee structure for the MBA program was INR 60000, which is my opinion very reasonable and affording. But I did have to pay separately for the accommodation facilities and mess availability. Other than this, my institute offered a wide range of scholarships and financial assistance to the needy and deserving students.

My campus so huge and was cleaned on daily basis and I had the best student life with all the facilities available on-campus. The facilities that were available here included a fully air-conditioned computer lab with Internet connectivity, Medical Facilities, Postal Facilities, Bank Facilities, Canteen & Stationery, along with a huge and fully stocked library. Also, events like Puzzle Duzzle, National Level Management Fest, Body Building, Scrabble, URJITH, and many more are organized by my institute and these events help us show case our extracurricular talent.

After I got shortlisted on the basis of CAT scores, I was then called for a personal interview in which the panelists judged me on the basis of my communication skill, reasoning ability, organization skill, listening, and interpersonal skills by asking various questions. To pass the interview, I had to think out-of-the-box and come out with innovative answers.
