Remarks
Doing an MBA program was obviously very expensive but I still wanted to pursue it anyway, so I started looking for universities that offer this program with an affordable tuition and is also recognized by the employers. Hence, I found Sardar Patel University, which ranked 151 by NIRF in Top universities and it's MBA program ranked 8 by India Today in all over Gujarat, also it was well known and the tuition cost was also under my budget, so I decided to apply for it by paying an application fee of only Rs.100 through the official website of the university.
Course Curriculum Overview
The MBA program here was purely structured to provide us the most knowledge theoretical as well as practical skills. It was a career-oriented program and consisted of managerial subjects along with corporate training sessions and internships, guest lectures and an unending roller coaster of ppt, reports, group presentations, etc. Also, I got to learn from the most supportive mentors and they were highly qualified with Ph.D. degrees in their relevant fields.
Placement Experience
The college is very popular, so our placement was quite good. All my batchmates, even the ones with average grades got placed in various companies with decent packages and one even got a package as high as 12 lakhs. The institute assisted us throughout te placement process- interview training sessions, resume building, internship opportunities, etc were provided to us for better exposure. Various dream and super dream companies came with great packages like Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Capgemini, etc. Average package of my whole batch came to be around 5 lakhs with 100% students getting placed.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My total fee was around 1.4 lakhs and this was inclusive of all my tuition and study material. I paid no extra fee of any kind. Although the tuition cost was very affordable, the institute also offered many central government scholarships for minorities as well as meritorious students.
Campus Life
Life here was diverse and very interactive. The infrastructure was also not so bad as the college is top-class. Classrooms were very good and although the library was small, it had almost all important stuff. Wi-Fi was available at the whole campus 24x7 and the medical facilities were also available. Sadly, we didn't have a ground of our own, so the college allowed us to use the Bhavans ground for games and sports. I really liked helping people and wanted to do some kind of social work, so I joined Rotoract Club.
