One of the Best engineering college of Odisha

My AIEEE score was good but I perform badly in OJEE-2012 as a result I didnt get good college in the final selection of counselling . So I opt for this college as One of my friend had already taken admission in this college. I took admission in this college through Management quota.

Overall the course structure goes on as per the syllabus of BPUT. From 1st year to 4th year there are total 8 semesters. Upto 7th semester, each semester consists of 6 theory papers and 2:3 or 4 practical papers. In 8th semester there are only 4 theory papers and one practical paper. In the final year (i.e. in 7 th and 8th sem students have to submit their major and minor projects along with various seminars.

College doesnt provide any internship from its own side. Students can take NOC from college and join internship from other places. But yes college will give facilities for industrial tour or site visits.

Placement for EEE, ECE and CSE branch is superb. This year around 90% students got placement. But if you are from Mechanical and Civil then you will get less opportunities. But again i want to say that dont expect companies like TCS, Infosys or wipro.

Almost all the events which are to be celebrated in a school or college is celebrated here. Republic Day, Saraswati Puja, Holi, Independence Day, Ganesh Puja, Vishwakarma puja , Diwali, These are some of the festivals which are celebrated. Apart from these Tech Fest and Cultural fest(annual function) of college is mesmerising. Many local celebs also are invited.

Educational Loans can be taken from different banks to study in this college. Scholarships like Medhabruti (Rs,10000 per year upto 4 years), Prerana (only for OBC, SC,ST with family income less than 1-2lakh p.a).

Exam structure is as prescribed by BPUT. And strict rules are to be followed while giving exams.

All the Faculties of this college are highly qualified accept some laboratory assistants who knew nothing but still show off as if they know everything. Anyways, maximum faculties are M.Tech or Phd degree holders from NIT or IITs.
