Reality of Agra college

This college presents a huge campus than others which are there in our city. The college is situated nearby Sarojini Naidu Medical College Agra. This college started in 1823. If we talk about quota for admission, I haven't used any but the quota is there like a war widow, sc and st, defence, etc. If you want to take admission in this college for post graduation then you must have got a minimum of 55% in their graduation. If your name is there in the merit list, then you are selected for this course.

MSc in zoology, I have chosen this course because I have a keen interest in animals. I have a curiosity to know more about animals that's why I opted for this course. If we talk about the faculty: student ratio, here is 1:15. Teachers are highly qualified and renowned. Although teaching methods are not very modern. But they make Concepts clear to the student. Written Examination is of 3 hours which includes 6 subjects with 1 optional, all are mandatory to pass. Examination held yearly. the examination is quite lengthy, you should have detailed knowledge about the topic if you want to score good marks

Fees are not hiked regularly here and if we talk about the cost to study, it's very cheap. Even a person who belongs to a low financial state can pay the fees very easily. it's highly affordable. The fees are 5000 /- per year. So your fees for the whole MSc is 10,000/- you can opt for the scholarship if you fulfil government eligibility criteria.

Campus Life here is quite interesting. There are many events which college organise throughout the year, kridangan, swagatam etc. Debate, quiz, sports events are regularly occurring in the college. If we talk about college structure amenities, the college infrastructure is quite good. Smartboards and projector are used to deliver lectures. The library here is highly maintained, you can get books whichever you want. But the biggest issue here is attendance. You should have at least 75% attendance.
