Remarks

The campus is very beautiful and the classrooms are efficient for good quality interactive lectures also our library is one of the biggest in the entire state with E-books facility. Admission is based on merit basis (the board equivalent scores) or your JEE MAINS score usually application are available around July and August. Our college has a good placement ratio and companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro are mass recruiters also good placements to companies like Jaro, Persistent System also some options for good students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My interests are particularly in the Electronics field so I chose (EEE) branch, major exams such as GATE and ESE are good options for an EEE student. 1:35 is the faculty: student ratio and is average as per the requirements. The teachers are good and qualified most of them being MTech. grads who start teaching but other old professors are not highly qualified. Exams are easy but are taken almost every month the mid semester and end semester exams every 4-5 months.

Internships Opportunities

3

College provides internship opportunities with AICTE based virtual internships in this Covid times also. Students can apply for project based internships and work with MNC's as an intern to get product based knowledge.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible for the campus placement from the 7th semester. Various companies like TCS, Infosys, Jaro, Persistent systems and others are almost the consistent recruiters from our college with good CTC the highest package from the previous year was around 13 LPA provided by PS. And the average package is around 3.2 LPA which is good also percentage of students recruited is around 90 to 95 maintaining a good placement environment from our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study for general category students is around 33000 for every course pursued per semester and the scholarship scheme provides a fee structure for the reserved category which is almost negligible course fees, they have to pay only the hostel fees and for other facilities.

Campus Life

5

Many events like Shankhnaad, Imprenditore, E-cell, Codeadept, Hackathons, are conducted to make a healthy environment and good social culture among the scholars. The classrooms are air conditioned with AC's and digital boards are available for smart classes. Annual sports event like Mahasangram involves various sports like cricket, badminton, Kho Kho, Kabaddi, carrom etc are held to cultivate sporting skills among the individuals .

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostels are good with a good speed Wi-Fi connection around every veranda of the hostel. The food of the hostel mess is just decent with a special meal on Sundays only. The hostel is quite affordable when the registration for a hostel is at the time of admission. The area around the hostel is good and environment is also pretty good.

Interview Experience

5

Basic questions about the course for checking the knowledge of basic science were asked at interview questions at the time of admission. The process of admission is just by applying the counselling application form that you get after you get shortlisted through to the DTE MP BE counselling rounds. Just basic knowledge of the course curriculum and basic science will get you through these around.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Companies visiting campus are mostly mass recruiters along with a few product-based and mid-level companies. Most students receive an average package of approximately 5-6 LPA, while higher packages are offered to only a few top performers. Few seniors, whom I know got packages of 8.5 LPA, 12 LPA, and 19 LPA also, so basically higher packages are also offered but their competition is high and only some of them can make it up to that. A good percentage of eligible students receive the placement offers, mainlt in IT and service-based roles, but competition remains there, so one needs to have serious preparation on his or her own. Arond 60%+ students got placed every year from on-campuses placements. The placement cell provides training sessions and interview sessions from the third year onwards. Overall, placements can be considered decent compared to other private colleges in the region. Basically, after completing my graduation, I plan to pursue good placement otherwise prepare further for civil services after understanding career growth, however, this is not my final decision but could make a final one before the completion of course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The manit curriculum for mechanical is quite strong in basics and was a major reason i chose this course .It covers core maths ,mechanics ,physics ,electrical and wrskhopa ,which helps for higher studies and exams .Exams are frequent with midsems ,quizzes and endsems;sometimes the schedule feels packed, but it keeps us regular with the syllabus.Difficulty is moderate if you attend classes and practice .Still , some subjects feel outdated and there should be more software , projects and insustry oriented content.

Placement record is decent, campus drives happens regularly. If no campus placement is offered then it's obvious one has to struggle a bit more to get a decent job but I beleive the college makes the students capable enough to crack the campus placement if a person really is capable then their is no lack of resources from the college. Even if there is no in campus placement I think everyone has a plan B.
