An insight of Mody University

one cannot say no to the lush green campus which is spread across 265 acres that makes our experience at the college even better. natural beauty calms the mind and is very peaceful . on the other side, the college provides high security as they have more than 10 guards on the whole campus. even though it has a grocery store inside the campus but it does have all the necessary things thus one has to purchase stuff from outside the campus or order online. it claims to have a gym but its still under construction. also being an all-girls university it does not have a salon inside the campus.they have a common washroom and mess which makes it very difficult during covid times. the admission process was very easy i filled the form offline and then i was invited to the counseling session & then I paid fees.

biomedical engineering is the most growing field in current times and has a lot of scope that's the reason i choose it. the course plan contains all the necessary subjects. Their is a shortage of faculty in biomedical department of college. term exams are conducted at the end of every semester.

mostly IT companies come for campus placements thus makes it difficult for a student from any other branch to compete with CSE student.No company for biomedical ever came for campus placements keeping in mind this is a new branch in our branch but 3 batches have already passed out from college. some companies that came this year for campus placement are VMWare, Walmart, mantra, etc.

the tuition fees are the same as most of the private colleges but the hostel is rather expensive. students can apply for hostel/pg outside the campus which are available at almost half price.Scholarships are provided in 3 ways-firstly through the college entrance exams known as MUSAT, second by 12th board percentage and thirdly by the rank of competitive exams.they provide scholarships up to 50% which is continued every year only if the student maintains a certain cgpa.No further financial assistance is provided.

life at the campus circles around the society or clubs and sports. you can also explore the campus as it has a pond and tapovan. our mess is one of the largest mess in Asia which can accommodate 1800 students at a time. the college has all kinds of societies including dance (classical, freestyle, contemporary), photography singing, content writing, marketing, etc. sports include horse riding, badminton, basketball, football, volleyball, lawn tennis. the college conducts its founder's day celebration(FDC) in February.no cultural fest is conducted by the college.

the hostel i live in is nearly old and was actually made for a single-seater room only but later converted into 2-seater rooms thus the size of the room is very small.though new hostels on the street 13, 14 & 15 have rooms with ample space and quality showers. meal quality is fine & the menu changes every day. Hostels inside the campus are quite expensive so students can opt for pg outside the college campus.Hostel allotment process is very bad.
