Entrance Preview

Based on +2 marks. It was suggested by one of my uncle. The admission process is very simple if you have 60% score in +2.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course structure was not well defined to focus on research. The course structure was pretty much focused on passing the exams. The library also doesn't contain many books. If you want to focus on research better not to choose this college for your engineering education.

Internships Opportunities

No. No companies come for internship. And college also don't encourage you to go for internship. When there is internship, it's no point to expect stipend.

Placement Experience

0.5

No. No companies come for campus placements. All students have to look outside to get the job. Many of my classmates were struggled to get the job after completion of course. No figures to say when there was no campus placements. I heard that few companies came for placements but all were call centre companies.

College Events

3.5

There were few inter college fests conducted by college. Every year college management celebrates annual day. Comes to participation in inter college fests. Contestants cone from different colleges within city. Almost every student in college used to be part of the events contact by college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

One of the good thing about this college is their fee structure. They don't charge expensively. The college fee was reasonable. The fee is for one year, which we need to pay within 3 installments.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no option for loan facility from college side. Students used to get loans by their own. College management was providing with required documents to get the loans.

Campus Life

3

The gender ratio was one Girl for three Boys. But when comes to faculty the gender ratio was well balanced. In entire four years of course structure every different got one chance to attend workshop/ industrial studies. Culture of the was very good. There was no politics. College used to conduct good debates. College used to offer only ECE, CSE, IT and Mechanical courses. There was no scope for robotics.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel rooms were very big and we used to share with 6 people in a room. The food was also good. There were no PGs near to college. Many of the students used to stay in rented houses with their classmates and friends. Rents of the houses used to be 3000 per month for 1BHK.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good. But it is purely depend on the individual. How well the individual mingled with others. Senior students also helpful. But from college end there is no alumni gathering etc.

Exam Structure

The exams and labs were good compared to other areas. However labs are not well enough equipped with material. College used to follow the exam schedule given by university. They don't conduct any exams on their own other than internals. The days were not hectic. But it was well balanced with labs and exams.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty of college was combination of both good and bad. If I rate them on scale of 1 - 5, 5 being Excellent and 1 being worst. My rating would lies between 1.5 - 3. Some of the faculty were not well qualified to teach engineering students. They just completed their engineering and joined as faculty.

Placement Experience:

Placements were too good in DACE. They also provide training for students who opt for higher studies or civil service exams. For higher studies, they give gate training. For the civil service exam, they give specific training for students to join government jobs. Other than this very good MNC companies with high packages will come to DACE for recruitment.
