Sri Nandhanam College of Engineering and Technology (SNCET), Vellore was established in 2001 under Sri Nandhanam Educational and Social Welfare trust. SNCET imparts quality education to the students inculcating individual vision and intellectual discipline apart from, thorough knowledge of their chosen fields of Engineering.
- Vision of the college is “To provide a result oriented atmosphere conducive for education and comfortable for students with varied physical, social and economical backgrounds”
- Mission of the college is “To develop SNCET into a “Center of Excellence" offering Engineering Education to men and women at undergraduate and postgraduate degree levels, bringing out their total personality, emphasizing ethical values and preparing them to meet the growing challenges of the industry”
- The College is situated in Tirupattur, in between Bangalore at a distance of 100 km and Chennai at a distance of 200 km. The nearest railway station is Jolarpettai Railway Junction, which is 7 km form College campus
- SNCET is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai

Management team was very friendly and they often interacted with students to understand how lectures and professors are treating students and also they asked us to give feedback about almost everything.

CC was very good and the syllabus was also very useful to the engineers for the career and Sri Nandanam college of engineering and technology. Course was very good and staff is also good. over all the college is very good and reliable for the young people

Its overall a good course curriculum as per the Anna university. But somewhat tough syllabus which can not be studied fully by any student.
Admission:
The management was very disciplined. We had a very big library consisting latest journals and books for all branches. The most good part was our placement cell. The faculty was very experienced. Food was good. College was much cheaper compared to other not so good deemed universities across the country. They gave scholarship to the poor students.
Admission:
College management were strict related to attendance and mingling of boys and girls. Strict rules if you are absent or taken more leave. Now management has changed and these restriction should no longer be there. Facilities provided by college are good. P
Placement Experience:
Hope other departments such as ECE, EEE, CSE got placed in companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. But for mechanical none of the companies came for hiring.
