Forensic science ( Course , fee and placement)

As I'm a forensic science student I really wanted to get into a college where I get to learn more about my field also my main aspect was to have a great faculty. Shri vaishnav vidhyapeth is proven to be one of the best institutions for the study of forensic sciences and we've all sorts of labs for all the experiments. The field I'm in is just so exciting we get to talk about murders do research about murders and suicides, we're always thrilled and excited about our classes unfortunately it has been online for over a year now so we're not able to experience the investigation processes and police station visits but also we're equally thrilled to know more about everything. The faculty is quite nice to students and the fees are very affordable for any top-notch college for forensics it's pocket-friendly and the environment is amazing. We're very excited to start this new chapter of our lives and can't wait to get there and experience my college life. After a lot of research, I'm here.

As a kid, I was always thrilled by mysterious and suspense I used to watch crime shows since I was little and this course matches my passion to its core it's interesting mysterious, and what not I love forensics as it plays with my brain and how interesting this subject actually is. The faculty is nice a few of them lacks English speaking skills but they have a decent knowledge of what they're going to convey. Almost all of our facilities are Ph.D.'S in their respective subjects and some of them are currently pursuing their doctorates. I like how some teachers explain but a few of them aren't able to convey or pass on their knowledge to us they can't explain properly and it can only be explained via practicals or lab assignments. The scoring is quite tough, to be honest, we don't get enough grades as per the studies we really need to work and study harder. There are multiple tests and exams taken every month and viva numerous times just to test out our knowledge and basics.

Yes, they do provide internships to students but being a 1st-year student I have no idea about the companies and stipend. I've absolutely no idea about the companies in my institute I.e. forensic science but students are placed in TCS and many other reputed companies after their engineering.

From the 5th semester, they get eligible for campus selections and placements. I'll pursue masters in criminology or ballistics in forensic science I've no idea about the companies and student's getting placed You'll have a higher chance of getting placed after your masters. You've 10% chances of getting placed after your bachelor's.

The fee structure is quite decent and pocket-friendly as compared to a private college with a knowledgeable faculty. The fee of our course ranges around 27,500 per year and 13,500 per semester excluding the caution money which is refundable after the course ends. There are facilities like scholarships for the minorities also for the military. But the only drawback is our college doesn't support medhavi scholarship which is disheartening I've tried many times but there was no response being from a general category I've to pay full fees. Since I'm in my first year I've got no access to a job or internships I'm doing it on my own in this pandemic.

Naming of fests as there are many the introduction and then conferences with some highly educated and reputed scientists abroad also spandan was one of the annual fests I've heard but never experienced due to pandemic. There are all sorts of books available in the library you name it and they have it you don't have to purchase any of your books the library provides you with them it issues you some of their books and if you don't return them on time there is access to a fine per day which is ok in my opinion. We have a smart class also all sorts of forensic labs including chemistry labs, biology labs, etc. We've our sports tournaments every year and being a sports enthusiast I love it the most. I took part in swimming and volleyball but never got a chance to play due to the pandemic. Our college has its own website also an app through which students can pay their fees to check their attendance and have easy access to their internal marks.
