Entrance Preview
I gave MP-PET exam to enter this college. It is the no. 1 college in Gwalior and as my hometown is in Gwalior and I got the mechanical engineering branch which I wanted so I took the admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was nicely designed as per the AICTE approved pattern. Nice labs to work / experiment on. All the practicals and vivas were conducted nicely and focus was maintained. Right from the beginning a lot of attention was given to this branch and all the students did well in the whole batch.
Internships Opportunities
Yes it provides. the stipend was around 8000/- at that time. Most of the students opted for the internship and did well by being the faculty.
Placement Experience
Placements were decents. I must say not 100% but if the student has a caliber then he / she can crack the placements. There were companies like accenture, HCL, Cadburys, etc and all were given the chance to sit and try their luck. I hope after 2006 this ratio might have gone up for sure.
College Events
There were annual functions conducted in the college every year. Then sports meets were conducted. students were exposed to both studies, annual functions and sports.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not sure about the scholarship as I didn't get one. This needs to be check with the management. May be for the most bright student there was one.
Campus Life
The gender ratio was decent. Labs were good with all the facilities, sports were conducted in a decent interval. Annual functions were conducted to display the skills.
Exam Structure
Exams were conducted in the AICTE approved manner. There were mid semester exams as well as the end semester exams. Practicals were also included. Projects were also there in the 6th semester as well as in the 8th semester. Industrial training was also there.
Faculty
The faculty were nice and knowledgeable. Gave decent attention to students. Basics of the students were cleared during the classroom sessions. Main / core subjects like TOM, SOM, DOM, engineering drawing and designing subjects were explained nicely by the faculty.
