Entrance Preview

UPTU entrance exam. My rank was 8780. I opted MIET because it was close to my home and I don't have to go and look for hostels to stay.

Internships Opportunities

No. We have to look for that on our own. During summer vacation (end of semester) we were asked to come up with vocational training certificate. No one arranged anything for us. We have to visit companies on our own for training.

Placement Experience

Only IT companies like TCS and wipro visit. No companies for mechanical discipline. L&T used to come in 2008 when I took my admission but as soon as my 1st year ended I came to know that L&T won't visit our campus from this year onwards. We all were left speechless and shocked.

College Events

One tech fest and one annual fest. No inter university sports events were organized. Only colleges like bharat institute of technology, KN Modi technical college and Vidya college of engine were invited for sports tournaments. Major games like cricket, football and badminton were missing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. Tution fees was way more than it should be. It was 70000 an year with 3780 as university fees and 2000 for god knows what. Considering the quality of teaching in the college even 7000 was more and they took 10 times of it which was pathetic.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are available at usual bank rates. At the time of admission you will find stalls of different banks offering loan facilities at usual education loan rate.

Exam Structure

Three sessionals every semester with one external practical. Sessionals are quite frequent. Best two out of three were considered. It was annoying because most of the times we were in exam hall giving exams. Two exams were takes in one daybin two shifts.

Affordable college with good placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BTech because I wanted to explore how real world works with technology and to know the insights of technology. The college mostly provides theoretical knowledge and not the practical knowledge refraining us from more exposure to real world problems. If the course is shifted from theoretical to practical it'll be really helpful. Two exams are conducted per semester, and the difficulty level is moderate.

KIET College Review

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester students are elligible for Campus placements. The Median package is around 4.5 LPA. Some good companies giving students package of around 10 LPA also visit our college whereas some mass recuriter companies like also visit our college are TCS, Infosys, wipro and cognizant. Here, In this College Placement percentage is good and around 80-90% student get placed.

from seventh semester student s becomes available for placements thre are lots of sales company and some tech companaies also that visited in out college there are lots of offers made throught these companies highest package offered was 1.21 crore and average salalry is 4 lakh 60 to 70 percent if students are getting placements through this placement season my future plan is to gather some money through job an srtart my own bussiness.

During my first year we had the same curriculum as CSE department just few subjects differ which was very good as we also got the opportunity to study programming languages. Though our new batch doesn't have this curriculum as per rule of the NEP.

Reality of private college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .

Best college in Meerut

Good college for placement, but environment is not that great.
