My college experience

Good is the art of infrastructure and Highly qualified faculties. Timely exam. Proper behavioural aspect learning. Do things timely. The bad aspect is more concentrated on exam and average in placement. Lagging in one to one counselling Not as per international standard. Focus more on class study rather than research activities. the admission process is Cat/ Mat/ Xat or Saat dates - Dec to June reason for opting: good infrastructure no 1 college in all Odisha ranking good faculty.

MBA in Hospitality Management is full-time 2 years. Faculty is good and qualified faculty-student ratio-1:50 faculty qualification: master degree with Net/ PhD/ MPhil teaching method: theoretical with the practical project-based seminar-based exam: 3-month basis internal and end-term total 6-trimester exams in the 2-year exam: moderate level with no cheating, CCTV surveillance.

After the 3rd-trimester college provides IT training for 2 months. We got the offer from Mayfair, ITC, TAJ hotel etc. Project of mine: employee engagement. outcome: employee interaction, feedback system, parameters to check, questionnaire.

From the 6th-trimester students are eligible for final placement. Some of the company visited like OBEROI, MAYFAIR, ITC GROUP, NOVOTEL, RELIANCE, HMS Host. Highest package- 23k per month. The lowest is 10k per month. 60% was placed. I plan for future business.

Fees annually 100000. The scholarship is given to SC ST as per govt provision and some relaxation in fees to GOVT EMPLOYEE SON AND Daugher. University employee children get some concession in course fees. Prerana and Higher course scholrship, minority scholarship all given.

The campus was moderate not extremely good. They focus more on the study and make you stand on your leg. Placement depends upon your attendance personality and Knowledge, skills they are always focusing. Fest: Pakhal festival, Cuisine festival, National food festival. Library has 40k above books and states the art. Amenities in the classroom: Projector, AC, Bench, Whiteboard. Sports: inter-university sports, volley, cricket, all types state level also. NSS, DIFFERENT DANCE CLUB, 90.4 soa radio FM are there.

Personality test conducted. GD topic regarding current events happening in the country and economy. Through exam mark, career mark and GD interview mark seats will alloted. I had prepared from a grooming point of view, sound in current affairs, good score in exam and career marking and my personality helped me to get one seat.
