Remarks

I selected this college because it has low fees and is a government college and the highest package this year was 15 LPA so I thought this would be a good choice and this is also in my hometown. Also, there is a rich culture of coding despite being in Bihar this college students have never set a bar for them.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. The teacher is helping them teach us very well. They are very well educated they are all MTech from various IITs and NITs. They clear all the doubts we have. They take all classes they are very sincere.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Placement Experience

I don't know much about it as I am in my first year but as of my knowledge campus placements are in 4th year. Companies like Cisco, Wipro etc come for campus placement. The highest package is 15 LPA average is 4 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is overall 8000 for one year. If you stay at the hostel you have to pay 1000+2400 hostel+mess charge. You don't have to pay if you don't eat that day. Scholarship for ST, SC are available all the fee is refundable at the end of course but if you are general then no chance. Girls have the opportunity of getting 50000 once they graduate.

Campus Life

There is no such club in the college of you thing you will enjoy the club then sorry and also no infrastructure for games and other activities the only thing is an academic building. There is no such campus life only you go to college say your senior good morning and come back and nothing else.

Hostel Facilities

In the first year you will be given 3 seater room for every bed there is a table chair and a rack. The room has tiles. The bathroom is washed daily. Food is good there is different varieties every day. Sometimes it's not good. Registration is easy.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Overall nice infrastructure and facilities.poor placements,but faculties are knowledgeable and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is but outdated. It doesn't prepare much for real world applications but can help in preparing for higher studies or competitive exams. 75% attendance is mandatory .Even one day before exams , we need to attend classes. That has a scope of improvement for the college to focus on skills rather than theory knowledge only.

I am really interested in my course . The fees is affordable. The placement opportunity is good as well as here is the environment for government exam / engineering service exams . Different well qualified faculties are present in each branch . Every subject has faculty member. Each and every faculty is well educated . The minimum qualification to become the faculty of this college is Mtech . The faculty has passed GATE exam /BPSC exam . The term exams are timely , midsems are taken 1 month before the end sem exams . The level of the semester exams is sometimes moderate or tough . Students should have the depth knowledge of the subject .

First it is a Government Engineering College which comes under Bihar Government and is Funded by World Bank under TEQIP-III scheme. Many Courses and Internships are organized by Bihar Government to develop skills in students. And the Fee of the college is very less. At the time of admission you will be charged Rs.2500 by the college and in 2nd, 3rd and 4th sem college will charge Rs 120 only for showing in Government Records and the University will charge you first time Registration Fee of Rs 2100 and Rs 6400 as Exam Fee every year for 4 years by the time you complete your Degree. So total fee college will cost you Rs.26080 in 4 years. A medium class family like my can afford the Fee of this college. If you can't afford the Fee you can get a loan from Bihar government under Bihar student Credit card scheme for Under Graduate students after getting admission, under this scheme you will get money for College Fee as well as Hostel Fee and money for buying books and for buying laptop under very low Rate of Interest.
