The admission process in the Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS) is centralized. The KIAMS has two campuses at Harihar and Pune. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 year’s Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University. Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor’s degree and completing all requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree by 30th June 2021 can also apply, subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 1st October 2021. Accepted Entrance Exam: CAT,XAT,CMAT,ATMA,GMAT,MAT,MHCET (for pune campus),KCET (for harihar campus).

The course curriculum is designed keeping in mind the real corporate world and the course curriculum is redesigned as and when the need arises. The course is designed in such a way to make students ready for corporates. The faculty here is very friendly and knowledgeable. They guide us in both theoretical and practical aspects of concepts. The faculty: student ratio is 7:1.

100% paid internship has been provided for the academic year 2020-22 Note able companies are: KFIL, KOIL, KPCL, Airtel, Tenhard, Shresta, Amul, ATE solutions , Pitchfork, Reliance retail, Cargill India.

Placements of KIAMS 2019-21 Average Package : 6.5 lacs pa+ Highest Package: 14.5 lacs pa 100% placement is achieved for the academic year 2019-21. More than 100 companies participated in the placement drive. Notable names are E&Y, PWC, Deloitte, KFIL, KPCL, KOIL, Marrico, Acuity, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, PhonePe.

The fee charged by the KIAMS is very moderate. The program fee includes tuition fee, lodging and boarding charges, etc. The fee is payable in 6 installments ‘across the period of the course. About Scholarships, 1. Students from CAT/ XAT/CMAT/GMAT/MAT Entrance Tests having 95 percentile and above are eligible for a scholarship of Rs. 1,00,000/- in the total Program fee. 2. Students from CAT/ XAT/CMAT/GMAT/MAT Entrance Tests having percentile between 90 to 94.99 are eligible for a scholarship of Rs. 60,000/- in the total Program fee. (Note: The scholarship will be applied from the sixth installment of the fees and will be linked to the academic and behavioral performance during the PGDM course.)

We have so many fests namely BIZZIMA, INSPIRE, CREST, KiriT. The College library is full of books that students need and books are ordered as and when the need arises. Classrooms in KIAMS are very comfortable and fully equipped with all the things required for digital and traditional learning.

The program is a fully residential program. So, the students need to live in college only during the span of 2 years. In college, there are 2 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. Hostel rooms are very well furnished. The canteen menu is decided keeping in mind all the student's preference and quality of food is good as well.

I have gone through PI during my admission. For PI, once basic should be clear and strong in their respective area and General knowledge should be good and should be updated with the business world.
