Glimpses of George School of Law

This has been a great institute in all aspects for me since I took admission to this college. We have got such humble teachers who not only teach their students but also make sure so that they learn the things being taught. In an aspect of placement GEORGE SCHOOL OF LAW is doing great since the beginning. According to me, this college will be the best college ever in the field of law forever.

Since I was in my 10th I was very eager to know about the legal aspects & our constitution. So I opted for BALLB after completing my CBSE examination. The day I got my result of the entrance examination & came to know that I got the opportunity to go to such a reputed institution like GEORGE SCHOOL OF LAW I was really overwhelmed. On my first day, I was really very excited and a little bit tensed as such respected teachers were there in front of me. But gradually I found them likey guardians sitting in front of me. I really found myself enough luck to gain some knowledge from them

From 6 th semester onwards students use to get the paid internship opportunities in reputed legal firms. The certificates provided by the reputed legal firms will be worthy for the students in their future or for getting placed in the reputed companies in future.

From the 7th semester onwards all the eligible candidates get the opportunity to sit in the interview sessions for placements. Reputed sectors like IBM concentric, Wipro, Cognizant use to offer the students of George School of Law to work for them. At least 75 % of the students get placed every year with a handsome package of 3.5 -4 lacs per yr

The year I took admission (2017) the total fee structure was 1.75 lacs for 5 years. Gradually as per the price hiking policies of Calcutta University George School of Law is going with the pace. All the scholarships are available in this institution as per the State Government & Central Government plans. George School of Law is organizing the fests since its first year & use to organize annually every year. Moreover, George School of Law is having their Rotaract club where the students get enough opportunities to explore themselves in all the aspects let it be sports, music, charity, donation drive & any other extracurricular activities.
