Remarks
The college is based amidst nature and follows the GTU curriculum. One can get admission here through Merit/JEE/Gujcet ACPC. The process is similar to most other colleges in Gujarat. I had joined the institute in 2019, impressed by the fess and the facilities provided by it. I was thinking between this or Vadodara Institute of Technology but ended up choosing this one. Reviews on Google, especially on CollegeDunia helped me a ton in deciding on this college and since then I have had a great time in here.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since the beginning, I have had an interest in technology and coding so it was a no brainer to go for the Computer Engineering programme. The entire course is based on the Gujarat Technological University curriculum so the Mid Term exams were pretty similar to the final semester exams which helped us to get an idea about what to expect. The faculty is extremely helpful and friendly and they focus a lot on the practical knowledge along with the theoretical knowledge required for the exams. The faculty to student ratio is about 10:1 with over 60+ teachers and 1200+ active students.
Placement Experience
I don't have much idea about the placements but there aren't many companies that come for placements and usually, most of the placements are from the same company. It's better to go for a Master's and that's something I'm considering as well after I'm done with my bachelor's.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the Computer Engineering program, the fees that I paid was 55,000 INR per annum. I personally didn't enrol in any scholarship programs but they are available at the institute but you can't avail yourself if you're from the Open/General Category. Also, there was a Tablet program through the Gujarat government but again it's not available to those who are from the ISC board. TFS schemes are also available here. Talking about campus jobs, I'm still in my second year so no experience with that yet.
Campus Life
Campus Life is something you would really enjoy here. There are regular seminars about various topics that you can attend which not only would help you gain extra knowledge but will also help you in getting your 100 GTU activity points. Also annual fest along with technical and sports events such as Spandan, Technopolis and Shaurya are usually held in the month of February where students can come together and participate. These work as great stress busters from the usual life of the college. Apart from this the college also offers a full fledged library, canteen and hostel accommodation with gym facilities. Recently they've also started a hostel facility for girls. There are also travelling facility but it depends upon the number of students actually willing to take that facility, thus, it did start in the beginning but they ended up stopping it later due to a lack of students willing to take it.
