Course Curriculum Overview
There was always a fun fair in college in which we show our creativity and logical thinking. Exam structure:- There was internal exam conducted every semester. Then pre GTU exam for preparation and, Final external exam. Placement:- sorry to say but there wasn't much placements opportunities in our college. Knowledge:- Knowledge provided was very good. Industrial visit:- Of course, there was two out of state industrial visits (pune) and one was in ISRO.
Placement Experience
As I mentioned earlier there wasn't much company came in our college for placements. college said initially that there will be placement but actually there wasn't much. That was the sad part of college. And there wasn't any special steps for students to prepare for placements.
College Events
As far as I remember there was so many events such as:- Technopolic: which is technical event in which students took part and show their real creativity and hidden talent, well, not every student was interested in taking participation. But we go for campaigns in different colleges for fund raise and participants
Fee Structure And Facilities
As compare to other colleges it wasn't much expensive but yeah it was expensive for middle class boys like me. Mode of acceptance:- They only accept cheques no cash at all. They asked extra fees for industrial visit in all 4 years but there wasn't any industrial visit in first two years of engineering.
Fees and Financial Aid
They only offer scholarship for students who are not belongs to open/general category. My friend once got scholarship of around INR 6000.
Campus Life
Don't ask for the gender ratio in our class there was 60 students out of that only 10 girls and remaining 50 boys and 1 girl in mechanical department out of 120 students. There was around 5 computer labs, 10 Mechanical labs, 64 electrical labs. If you tals about race than all were mostly indian but of different religions like Hindu, Muslim, few Chouristian. There was robotics competition between diff colleges and it was a fun.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors. Don't ask they were so amazing and always ready to help. Initially I thought seniors aren't that helpful cause you never interactive with them but than I found out they were pretty good.
Admission
At first, I got admission in silver Oak, ahmedabad but it was far away from my home and hostel was pretty much expensive. So I decided to choose college near to my home. I was interested in computer engineering from school, so I took admission in DJMIT. And it was not that expensive. Steps:- 1) First I went to college and apply for admission they said we contact you once you got selected. 2) Then they call me and I went there and pay admission fees and submitted documents. 3) Then I started college journey ;)
Faculty
We used to have 8 lectures of one hour each. Every lecturers are age of around 25-40. Main problem was some of them only provides theoretical knowledge. They do have enough experience and some of them have did PhD as well. There were two labs among that 8 lectures.
