Remarks
Eligibility criteria for the admission process are 1) GATE 2) Institute Entrance Test. I had given the Institute Entrance Test may be in the month of May 2012. The reason for taking admission to this college is my JOB. My profession was teaching. So for teaching ME is compulsory. In those days it is quite difficult to get admission for ME. And this college does not take any donations for admission. That's why I prefer this college even if it was 750km from my place. And one more reason is that the college conducts the academics every Saturday and Sunday. So I can easily attend college while doing my job. And that was my first priority. K. K. Wagh College of engineering is one of the best engineering colleges in Nashik as well as in PUNE university. Highly qualified and experienced staff is the key feature of the college, Laboratory was also well equipped. As I am a PG student and attending the lectures only Saturday and Sunday, so I don't know bad things about this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Because I didn't get admission in a signal system in my field and ME was compulsory for teaching so I took admission in ME Electrical Control System. The faculty-student ratio was 9:2. For project one faculty guide two students. I think in the Electrical department Two faculty had a Ph.D. completed and the rest of the faculty pursuing Ph.D. So faculty was knowledgeable and highly qualified. Most of the teaching-learning process was practical based. More weightage was given to practical. Exams are conducted on regular basis and easy to pass.
Placement Experience
As we are PG students, No students were applied for campus placement as all were working. Most of the students were doing teaching jobs. Campus placement is also there for ME students. For UG lots of companies visited colleges for campus placement. I think in Nashik this college provides 100 percent placement. Campus placement for UG students is there. I think companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys visit for campus placement. For UG 100 percent plcement is there.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no hike in the fees during my post-graduation. Fess was constant for two years. The fee was around 72000 per year. Most of the students were working so no financial assistance was required. I think campus placement was also there for PG student but no one applied for placement as already all are working
Campus Life
As I was a PG student and doing ME part-time so I don't know really about the annual fest and tech fest. The library was a separate building. It is having three floors. All the books are available in the library. The key feature was a digital library that was not available during my graduation. Easily students can get the IEEE transaction paper as the cost of these papers was huge. For the project, students were required 100s of paper for their project. And Library helps us with research a lot more. ME classroom was the smart room where a computer plus a projector are also available. Actually, digital classrooms are available.
Admission
I have given the screening test conducted by the college to take admission for PG. I had given two exams, one for ME EXTC in signal processing and the other for ME Electrical Control System. I am in the waiting list for embedded system but ranked 4th in Control System
