College Overview

The admission process is very nice with very helpful management. It didn’t take lengthy procedures to get admission in the college. The admission is through neet exam based on the score the college takes admission. For eligibility, you should be qualified in neet exam. The campus is very good with a clean environment and good weather. The campus is clean and has many facilities like basketball court gymnasium, football ground, cricket ground, volleyball court badminton court and a good canteen with the good hygienic condition. People here are very helpful including seniors and faculty

I was passionate about the medical field since my childhood and while growing up I understood the importance of oral health and wanted to spread awareness, so I chose this field. The faculty: student ratio is 1:25. The faculty is highly qualified and their teaching method is simple and easy to understand. The college conducts 3 internals.

We have clinical postings in different departments of oral health namely Oral medicine and radiology, Oral and maxillofacial surgery, Public health dentistry, Prosthodontics, Conservative dentistry, Periodontics etc.

After completing my degree I plan to do my DDS in the USA. After that, I plan to do my specialisation in Oral and maxillofacial surgery moreover super specialisation in cosmetic dentistry. The joy we see after seeing the smile on a patient is priceless.

The fee is 275000/year which is nominal for the practical exposure we get. We do have paid internship opportunity available after completion of the course. And some admission is through pmsss which the govt provides the fees for students of Jammu and Kashmir The stipend here is good for the new interns joining the hospital. Overall the course is not expensive as compared to the professional courses offered at different colleges.

Life at the campus is very lively. Our college has its own annual fest SPARK and various activities and competitions are organised. We also compete in AIMS AURA and other events and enjoy it a lot. The classrooms are highly equipped with modern teaching equipment’s. The classrooms are big and spacious. We have playgrounds for different sports and equipments are provided by the college itself.
