INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND CAREER COURSES, which is located in Mayur Colony, Kothrud Pune is one of the best working colleges in the Kothrud sector. With more than 3 lakhs students passed out and successfully placed, IMCC is one of its kind. Established in 1983, The college has an exceptional record of successful placements with students in the merit. Some quick cons to consider 1. Though the college has been in the top 10, the charges and fees are pretty expensive. 2. If considered from the student perspective, the college staff has shown immense favourism and a lot of Politics has been experience over the years. If the students who are willing to take PG courses such as MCA or MBA, then there is no other best college such as IMCC.
Course Curriculum Overview
PRACTICAL BCOM including GST and Banking with 2 yrs OJT (On the Job Training) is one such Course which was founded way back in the early 2000's by Mr. Sanmit Shah.
Placement Experience
The placements of this college campus has been excellent over the past few years. The students are given immediate placements after completing the first year of graduation itself. The companies who have visited the campus are BVG, KANJ & Associates, Ravindra Logistics, Cognizant, WNS, Mehta & Mehta group, and many more. The average starting salary of the students who have just completed their 1st year of graduation is 15000. The students are to score atleast 50 %. As soon as I completed my 1st year, I was selected in Kanj & Associates as a legal trainee, which is considered as one of the best in Pune region.
College Events
The life at the campus here is full of enthusiasm and energetic. The social life, clubs and infrastructure here is extremely well organized, and a lot of personal hygiene and cleanliness is maintained. If considered the sports, students here are not given much of support as it is a completely education based.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees structure for the Course of Practical Bcom, is approx. 1,30,000 for 3 years. The students are given the scholarship, financial assistance and 100% placement guarantees.
Admission
The students who are willing to take Practical Bcom, first need to clear the personal Interview round. The students will then be evaluated according to the percentage scored. When I gave the interview I was asked a lot more logical reasoning, and questions related to HOT's (higher order thinking skills), so clearing the first and second round itself was a tricky part for me.
