Remarks

One of the best government Engineering college of odisha. It's suggested by one of my seniors. You need to score a good rank in jee exam to get admission in this College. In August 2018 I got admit to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are really cooperative. They will always guide you through out the year. You can go and clear your doubts whenever you are confused. I am in civil engineering field and there are 130 students in our batch, including freshers and droppers. It's a 4yr course of 8 semesters. We have 2 semester exams per year.

Course Fees: INR 21000 per year

Placement Experience

Students from 6th semester can sit for the placement opportunities. There are a huge number of companies that visit every year. i.e TCS Infosys TATA etc 60- 70% students get placed

College Events

There are 2annual fests 1. Xtasy i.e the cultural festival, in the month of March 2. Perception i.e the tech fest, in the month of February We have a wide range of books in the library which includes academics and other journals. There are a lot of clubs which is created by the students themselves.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a TFW scheme for scholar students, i.e tution fee webinar. Which will cut half of the fee.

Campus Life

Our campus area is more than 100 acres, we have a special lab building for all the lab works. There is a special sports club in our college for the spots enthusiastics. We have a great speed of wifi system.

Hostel Facilities

Therevare 4 hostels i.e 2 for boys and 2for girls which are inside the campus. Meal quality is really good. You need to register for the hostel facility during the admission process. You will get your room according to your JEE rank

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple.
