Remarks

The best aspects of my college are: Near the natural beauty Teachers are not very young and understood our feelings like our friends except 1 or 2 ma'am. The teacher's quality is good. Hostel fees are minimal. The mess fee is also minimal. Let me tell you something that my 2 friends got admission to BHU main campus & 1 friend got admission to DAV but when I asked them about there studies. Their experience is not much good. They told me that in both colleges teachers were not take class properly a/c to time table but in RGSC I already told u that they are like our friends and they take classes properly too because they are a learner and don't have an ego. My marks allowed me to got DAV but I choose RGSC & now I am happy with my decision. One thing that is also good at this college that everybody gets allotted in Hostels. I was very confused and worried at the time of admission because everybody told me that it's not a good college but now I want to say to them that " Bro don't say anything if you don't know " Its only rumours.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

My course is B.Com Hons. FMM and I did choose this course because I am preparing for CS(company secretary) and most of the subjects of FMM are related. In my class, there are 56 students, where boys are 52 and girls are only 6 but all are good and very friendly. All teachers are not experienced because most of the teachers are newly allotted and these are very young but the teaching style is very good and friendly nature. There are 2 exams held in a year means 2 semester and exams are not very much hard. Every paper is for 70 marks for each subject. Assignment for 10 marks in each subject. For 10 marks there is a test & presentation.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

This college is in a rural area so, there is not much opportunity of internship Do, if you want to do that course which is enough for you then u can opt for this college. If you want to an internship then you have to go to Varanasi which is not easy to go and come.

Placement Experience

5

There is not much placement in college at the UG level but in my course b.com Hons. Fmm some students got placement at package of 3-3.5 lakh. Most of the student do something like M.Com, MBA, CA, Cs after completeting graduation . I am preparing for CS and FMM helps me very much because most of the subjects are related.

Fees and Financial Aid

As you, in RGSC there is only paid seat but in our course's it's the same as the main campus which approx 27k but if you from U.P. you will get scholarship 25,000 for this course so, indirectly your fees will be 2,000 only and 2000 is not for the semester. It's for a whole year and if you are from outside of U.P. then you can fill National Scholarship. In last if you want to do some part time job then BHU will provide you according to your skills, quality & knowledge.

Campus Life

5

First of all many festivals held in RGSC, like college fest, spandan, Holi, Shivratri, Sarswati puja and many more. There is also hostel nights done by every hostel. In Feb, spandan is conducted and before that college fest was held. Its library is new but there is the availability of every book. They also subscribe to many journals which help in the studies of students. Sports curriculum is held every year by college & for participating they didn't take any money. its a government college so it's free. Overall this college is best.

Hostel Facilities

5

I am a b.com student and I got Vidyanchal Hostel. The hostel facility is very good and the mess is also good. Fees of hostel and mess are very minimal its about hostel fee is 4,000 but after completing the course 2,000 will return. Mess fee varies from hostel to hostel but overall 2,000 per month, I have to pay . Food quality is good and 3 times given in a day. First meal 8 am to 10 am. 2nd 12 pm to 2 pm. And dinner 8pm to 10pm.

Interview Experience

5

For getting admission to this college, you have to clear the BHU Uet entrance. Firstly u have fill form and then in the month of May you have to give an exam then in after 2 months the answer key will come and after that, the counselling process will start. If your marks allow you then, you can get admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is good but i belive there should be more flexibility and more diverse topics should be taught as i mentioned earlier there should be something related to drama and skit and acting as it enriches the creative side of the students and also it is very necessary for a management student to have a creative skills too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core circular is moderately relevant but lens more forward theory than the practical application code, subject cover, fundamental concept and providing a base, but there is limited focus on industrial skill project work, coding or case studies which affect real world redness. Elective options are few restricting subject choice. The labour is mostly fake and really updated making it less aligned with the current industry. Trends exams are conducted twice a year medicine and M with internal contributing about 30% of the mark the frequency naval but timing of clashes with the critical session level is moderate theory tends to focus on road learning rather than the critical thinking. Overall the circular needs to more practical exposure, updated content and flexibility to prepare student for employment or higher studies.

There are total 6 semester in my course. The students become eligible for the course from the 4th semester onwards. The placements are not good in the college. It's very average. The highest package of the college is 4 lakh per annum. The average package of the college is nearly about 2.5 Lakh per annum. The lowest package of the college is 1.8 lakh per annnum. Nearly about 50% of the students got placement from the college. After getting the degree, my plan is to pursue the higher studies and do government exams preparation.

Admission:

The admissions are purely based on merit. The eligibility criteria is a student must have passed INTERMEDIATE WITH 40% FOR GENERAL AND OBC, SC/ST -33% MARKS. There is no Interview and the total number of seats intake are 80. The admission process is quite straightforward and lucid. I chose B.com because it provides a broad scope of employment options and job scope for graduates as a large number of B.Com graduates choose to pursue self-employment or land lucrative salary packages in prestigious companies.

Starting off with the negative effects of attending college. Tuition has skyrocketed over the years leaving college students thousands of dollars in debt right out of high school, since many people cannot afford to fully pay their schooling off. Going in that much debt is a huge benefactor of people attending college because many people just cannot afford it.
