The Best Place to Acquire Industrial Skills and Learnings being a Undergraduate!

Upon searching for "best BBA college in India" on google, the name of this college showed on top. I researched their website and thus got attracted because of the industrial exposure the college was providing. Which is not common among other institutes. I filled the online form in April 2018, I was screened in over a telephonic interview by the respected faculty of the college in June 2018. I'm in my final year & I can promise the following things about this college. - It has great infrastructure, - The faculty is top notch, - You can expect to get your first internship in the first year itself! - Regular Industrial Visits, - Average Package for BBA student here is 5-6 Lacs a year and max 11 Lacs. - Well maintained hostels, - 100% placement, - Specialization Diploma, I've myself worked with Flipkart, Magicpin, Modi naturals and many more. Negatives about the college- - Located in Corner of Ghaziabad, - The crowd is not that great, - Too many activities are conducted.

I chose this course because I wanted to get a foundation of business administration before going for an MBA. The faculty to student ration in the college is 1:30 which is quite good as you get more attention from the faculty itself. Faculties over here are from reputed colleges like IIM, IIFT, ISB and have worked with big MNC's. Each faculty has more than 10+ years of experience with some of them having 20+ years of experience. They regularly publish their research papers, almost 70% of the faculty are PhD holders. They know what they have to teach and are very firm in providing the best knowledge to their students. You can reach them 24*7 if you have any doubts regarding anything They are our Faculty members/ mentors in the college and that is actually great. The exams are conducted timely here, two-semester exams in a year i.e a total of six-semester exams over the course of 3 years.

Enormous opportunities are there for internships and live projects from reputed companies like sony, Flipkart, ITC, johnson & johnson etc. Even in the time of COVID-19, the college was successful in getting internships and live projects for almost 80% of the students and that speaks volumes about the industrial relations the college has to offer. They all offer a stiped of 15000 for 2 months some, of them offer even more. The task depends on which specialization have you opted for and whom do you want to work for. For marketing and sales, it can be Visual Merchandising, Retailing, Selling, Stock Maintaining, Delivery and Logistics( warehouse management), Digital Marketing etc.

Students are eligible for campus placements in the 5th semester or the beginning of the final year. The highest CTC offered to a BBA student was 11 lacs per annum whereas the average is around 5-6 lacs per annum. Some of the companies that visit the campus are-: Tommy Hilfiger & Calvin Klein, Aditya Birla Group, ICICI, Hitachi, Sony, Flipkart, Deloitte, Godrej, Paytm and many more reputed ones. The college claims for a 100% placement assistance which is true. But in the end, it depends on the caliber of the student sitting for placements. I plan to further work in a reputed organization in the marketing & sales or digital marketing department and then opt for MBA from abroad.

When I was enrolled in the college the fee was 1,12,000. It has been increased now, the college increments the fees every year. The hostel fee starts from 85,000rs/ year for triple sharing non ac bed and goes to the maximum of 1,15,000 depending on the room type. ( subjected to change). The college dress is provided by the college so you don't have to worry about that. Your measurements would be taken on your first day and you'll get your college dress in a week or so. The college library, transportation charges, insurance charges are included in the academic fee. The college also provides free laptop, not that great but yeah it gets the work done when you need it. I got my first live project with Modi naturals as a sales trainee and then went on to work ahead with reputed companies like Flipkart, magicpin, super99 etc. I'm sitting for placements this time and I expect a salary of 5-6 lacs per year.

The crowd is not that great when you compare this college to DU or any other renowned institute. This is primarily because of the college's location and you might have to adjust a little bit for that over here. The college canteen is beautiful and serves some really amazing eateries. We also have Maggie Hotspot, wherein you can get freshly cooked maggie of different types for a cheaper rate. The mess charges 30/ plate for afternoon food. No charges are incurred from hostellers, this is only for day scholars. The mess food is pretty nice. The college is equipped with a beautiful library and has all sorts of books within it. I was personally very impressed by the infrastructure of the library. The college campus is always kept neat and clean, from washrooms to the atrium to auditorium everything looks really clean and top notch. There is one very big issue in IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Camus for all sports enthusiasts which is the size of the playground. It's really small.

A hostel room gives you access you to 1 bed, 1 wardrobe, public bathroom and washroom. Huge playground and average food quality. The menu of the mess keeps on changing every month so you don't get bored eating the same food over and over again. The egg is served but no non-veg inside the mess. You can't cook your own food inside your room. No iron, the heater is allowed in the rooms. There is a shop at the hostel where you can get your clothes cleaned and ironed. Also, there is a public laundry free of cost inside the boy's hostel for you to keep your clothes clean. You'll only have to buy detergent from your pocket. There are 2 canteens in the hostel You can opt for a hostel when you'll be registering with college in both online and offline mode. It's very easy speaking as per my experience. You can also opt for rented apartments in nearby localities like Panchsheel, golf links or crossings Republik. Honestly, hostel life will be very easy as compared to living outside in a pg or an apartment.

I filled an online form, got a call from the admission department. I was briefed regarding the admission process. A telephonic interview was conducted since I used was from Lucknow and the college was in Ghaziabad. After clearing that, I was told to visit the campus with my guardian in July 2018. A small interview was again conducted by the admission department head. We were briefed about the college, placement, opportunities, perks & benefits. We had to pay a fee for blocking our seat in the college which was 10,000 Rs. The interview rounds were very easy, I didn't undergo any special training. I just brushed up my general knowledge and that was it.
